z-gen Posted February 25, 2005 Share Posted February 25, 2005 what works been done to the engine ? that will determine how big you need to go, for a stock engine, with just a carb, i personally wouldnt go bigger than 2", because to be honest the 'K' series motors sound like shit otherwise. il be running a 2 1/4" all the way through with a 3" tip, but my engine im estimating to put out around 150hp. .5" wont make too much difference on the tip. kyteler Posted February 25, 2005 Share Posted February 25, 2005 On a car as small as a KE20, I think you'd be stupid to put anything larger than a 2½" tip, you could always get a bit of 2½" bent and then cut and welded onto the end of the muffler of your choice. Guest ldgracie Posted March 4, 2005 Share Posted March 4, 2005 Hey dude I have a brand new RPS Dumpy for sale $250.00 plus courier. 2 1/2" inlet pipe with 4" dump tip outlet and 6" dia body, works well on these as long as you put in the longest resonator you can fit in the front to keep noise down.
