Sounds like a good idea to me. I don't think my car will be ready to enter by early next year but deffinately would be keen to go along and watch. All going well the year after that I can enter

Sounds like a good plan. Work permitting I'll try get there Saturday and now Sunday to meet up with you lot. While on the subjest I remember going one year and in the "car show" kinda area of the swap meet the Falcon and Fairlane club had a display, just a few cars parked up with a sign. I had a Falcon at the time so took noticed and stoped to talk to one of them but could be a good idea for oldschool one year?....not sure how you go about getting a spot though.

I think they are one of those cars that can pull off any colour well. Personally I've never seen a silver one though and I rekon that could look quite good.

Hey can I ask how much the new 2" exhaust cost on this car? It sounded good when you started up in front of me on the cruise, but not annoyingly loud which is good too.

Correct its 2L 5 Speed. gearbox is gone already (when i went on saturday) but still had a 205 block 2L pinto with factory air conditioning its only $140 for an engine so its a pretty cheap 205 block pinto for someone Gutted I was really hoping for 5 speed I already have one 205 pinto in the garage but if its still there next time I go to town might add it to the collection

Last time I was there, there was a sierra wagon inthe yard next door. Does anybody know if those are cars waiting to come in? If so fingers crossed for pinto and 5 speed

Haha the joys of been low Cheers man I think thats the best bit about owning these types of cars and no doubt most OS owners can relate is you get alot of stories from everyone who has a experience with a certain type of car in their past

Must of missed that bump but my exhaust dragged over that speed bump into the domain so would hate to think what dragged with you low guys Yeah just read bout next year that is sad, hopefully someone will step up and do something else. What a sweet day , good lengthy run, I did 365k today (not just the cruise) and 3/4s of a tank haha Apart from struggling to find the start, thanks for your help ther felixx and a little confusion in Oxford all went well. Sorry I wasn't more social guys their was a need not to hang around from my passengers due too moto x that afternoon. No doubt I'll meet you all at some stage though.
