  1. Good evening and welcome. I sold up my "modern" car and bought a Hillman Hunter. The initial plan was to buy and maybe slam on wide steel, but after an eventful evening, i think i'll just keep it nice and factory and do a little bit of resto work on it. here's some pics from the day i bought it very potato spec pics Here's some pics from it's first proper drive with me behind the wheel and here's a pic from an hour into its first drive. and that's my story. Discuss here
  2. Imma have to bail sorry fam. Been in hospital for some minor surgery and I'm a little bit immobile. Weak sauce
  3. If that was Reuben, that one he tried to buy is a kenmeri coupe.
  4. Here's a render of this exact car i found on faceberka. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=723195024370423&set=a.723195544370371.1073741829.686048378085088&type=1&theater
  5. Ahhh right. Yeah that makes a lot more sense. Should really just hook YouTube up to it and watch Aussie skid videos.
  6. Say what? My mate hired it out to show their own povo remake of harry potter that they made in the back yard. Was hilarious. They must have a way to play a modern digital file. I'll ask my mate how she did it
  7. I went to the movies and i had fun and that is my story

  10. sweeeet. will buy a ticket for wednesday if i can go with you gaiz.
  11. Sounds like seating for this is not allocated... Buy ticket, show up on the night, claim seat?
  12. Lol at bull rush. Not sure about allocation. Haven't tried booking online yet
  13. true, suitability by peers is def better than bad-cop or muppet WOF inspector (respect to non-muppet wof dudes). i see what you mean about flicking stones and that up. Would you say that would be the only risk involved in running fenderless?
  14. So what's the deal with being a member of a club for two years to go fenderless? I actually didnt realise that was the case. But it does confuse me that being a member of a club for two years somehow makes your fenderless car safer for the people you're driving around? haha. It's a pretty weird system tbh. My car was 'scratch built' in a factory in japan and has been registered on the road for some time, so someone (the government??) has thought it was pretty damn safe when it was imported. WAYYYY safer than a chev powered bathtub with the steering wheel between your legs imo
  15. should charge those T-bucket cunts a million bucks though. Fender exemptions ahoy! "I can drive my 350chev powered wheel barrow with 6 inches of up and down flex legally on the road with no fenders", buuuttttt oooooooo your adjustable coilover suspension precision manufactured in japan still needs cert because it's very very very dangerous. trololo
  16. I've rung lvvta to see if they know anything about it. They've just said the price they charge certifiers is going up from $124 to $142. So end of the day the price is up to individual certifier... Hope it's not becoming $1000 to check i did the bolts on my adjustable suspension up properly
