  1. Vitara = 4 seater off road motorbike in theory...in practice = 4 seater grader...
  2. From my current Demio/Vitara stable it will be quite a change...plus at that money I don't have a huge amount to lose!
  3. anyone ever seen an _____@hotmail.co.nz email address? Server is down on work email that is attached to TM account, anyone got any clever ideas for extracting contact info from auction?!
  4. Looking forward to seeing it in real life! Cheers for the input fuel, hoping that I don't need to muck around with turbos in the short term!
  5. This will be my first non-jap car sooooo, playing it by ear to see if it runs well first...and also how that oil leak plays out Yeah, I spotted that 16s were an option, guessing that hype put people off. T5-R 17s would be nice but I'm guessing rocking horse shit?! As for condition...I haven't seen it yet...I know, I know, my wife sympathises with the face palms! Anyone after a Slim Xbob 360 with Kinnect and Forza 4!
  6. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =435609641 Just impulse bought the shit out of this....OS BTCC contender...(I know, I know it's not a wagon!) or was it a dumb idea?
  7. Sweet, well I rang the locksmith this morning and he told me drivers door for the code, still needed to be returned 3 times before the ignition was happy! Much appreciated as I was initially thinking I might be up for new locks all round...obviously Nelson locksmiths have some kind of insider trading going on, $25 was charged!
  8. Done, well, no locksmiths open this time of night...but lock is off. Cheers, no obvious code on it, but the locksmith can have a look...
  9. First time in my life that I have lost my keys...on a car that I don't have a spare cut yet What's the best (cheapest!) option to solve this dilemna? Speed is not an issue as the car doesn't need to be used...if it makes a difference car is a Suzuki Escudo 3 door and is fortunately unlocked... Cheers!
  10. Nothing like oldschool owned at present (Just realised Escudo is 22, but will never be 'oldschool')..will bring S15 if age is not an issue, otherwise happy to chip in gas $ for someone with a seat spare!
  11. At $3.5k there might be another one in Nelson earlyish next year...
  12. Sounds like a plan, always good to meet people interested in cars that aren't dicks! Might have to utilise the S15 towbar to bring this to the next meet...
  13. Mrs says yes...what are you going to be in so we at least 'know' someone there?!
  14. Will try make it, will they be a kid-friendly bunch? Taking my 2 yo is a sure way to get a leave pass with a 4 week old at home. Will go with my brother and his S15 (Silver with Gold rims)...
  15. New baby on Friday so I'll start earning brownie points...no old school ride for me at the moment but always have gas $ if someone doesn't mind a tag-along...
  16. Would be great, unfortunately no 'oldschool' car at the moment, but I'm patient! Not sure if you've got access to an engineering (or wood) workshop in Nelson, if you need access to one just let me know, have most things just no TIG yet...
  17. Spotted today zooming along Haven Road, looks awesome...top effort!
  18. Levels would be a bit of a mission - but doable, need a place to see what the RB26 can do - the roads not really the place!
  19. And yes that is with the adjusties wound right up! R34 wheels would probably look pretty sweet, I haven't seen them on an S15 before. No purple here, red and obviously not an Aero...and it does tow damn well
  20. Well as it turned out the car never even stopped in Blenheim...was delivered to Picton Anyway - for another $187 it was delivered to Nelson, have it at home now. Not very exciting to look at (think S15 Spec S with gold wheels and adjusties on their highest setting, plus a towbar! ) but very good fun to drive. On the hunt for R33 GTR wheels...
  21. Tranzlink reckon it will be delivered to me in Nelson which is epically cheap if it's true...will be picked up in Invercargill tomorrow, will feedback here as to what the actual story is!
  22. Cheers, looking at the closing times of the shipping depot I might have to get you to pick it up (for beer tokens of course!) I'm sure it wouldn't be too unpleasant driving a S15 with RB26DETT home...as soon as I know anything concrete I'll give you a call...
  23. $380 from Invercargill to Blenheim, only way to get cars lower than 150 mm clearance up apparently... Cheers EvoBilly, will be in touch quite probably, insurance are pretty keen on it being garaged at all times so I might just have to mission over on the day it comes in (on that note does anyone know a clever way to get from Nelson to Blenheim after work? Bus is only 8:30 am in the morning...) New car for my little bro who is in London, he wouldn't be too happy about #*^& going missing...
  24. Car being shipped up from Invercargill, being dropped off in Bleheim on train, only bugger is that I can't get over there until the weekend. Do they store vehicles somewhere secure? I can't visualise any storage there at all so I'm just a wee bit worried it may end out dumped on the side of the road...
  25. I can't believe you'd be thinking of selling this fine vehicle. I was two seconds off jumping on the KP when you offered that up a few years ago. Power steering is definitely key in these, a mate had one as his first car a manual 2500TC, parallel parking was a prick when I was a weedy 15 yo. Induction noise was sooooo sweet, especially compared to my hondamatic Accord
