nothing to exiciting happening got some new seats to get me some more leg room. it worked there pritty comfy seats iswell annddd did some skids and this happend....not to happy haha but ohwell i guess ill just get it fixed so i can drive it again!!! looking at making a shifter somthing like this? if somone can get me one or steal one from a gas station somehow would be cool? haha im getting a big pay soon because i sold some stuff so i will get getting some 13x8 steelies or somthing like that and on of those front lip/splitter thingys off brenan () and have also purchesed some bike carbs does anyone know what would be best to make the manifold out of? alimunuim or stainless?

Hey I've just brough a gearbox for my datsun and it's in Wellington and I livevin palmy just wondering if anyone could bring it up for me this week somtime would be nice I can pay in beer/money?

i just got some fixed back bucket seats and my standerd rails bolt straight up and its the perfect hight thats a plus! so do i need a cert?

just had it happen to mine (i was stuck in 4th) i took it apart just to see whats happening and found out its a pritty simple fix and now i know to to take apart gearboxes.

sorry for spam but if i make some seat "rails" i mean just flat bar with some holes drilled in them to mount the seat to so its solid mounted would that pass a cert?

if you were talking to me? hahamy problem was a dirty fuel tank as the problem went away when i filled the fuel tank right up

Yeah I've replaced every fuel filter and new spark plugs a d yea but it docent matter now as my gearbox broke :/

thanks for your help everyone i just filled her up with gas and now its gone away and shes running mint again so it must just have some shit in the tank ill clean it out or just buy a new tank

I have no clue what that is tbh haha and I haven't touched any wires since I've got it

so just take the carb off and give it a mean clean? do you have any suggestions? i just saw your in palmy do you think you would beable to take a look at it?

sweet ill try all that out. but now it has a little problem like when you take off its like its straving for fuel and you look like your bunnyhopping haha but once you get to high revs it runs like normal? if it helps this only started after the first time i have washed the car? but it has been in the rain since i got it?

hey i guys i just got my datsun 1200 ute with a a15 in it like 3 days ago and went to drive today and i turned it on it ran mint for about 15-20 seconds and then started ideling really weird like dropping the comming back up to normal and dropping but when you rev it it revs fine and its the same when your driving it if you can get it going and open up it runs sweet at high revs but when you go to take off and your driving slowley its jolts around but when it gets going its sweet. i can take videos if wanted? and anyone in palmy that can come have a look at it today/tonight i can pay you if you fix it edit: you go to rev it now and it just dies? edit edit haha: now its running sweet? wtf!

sweet. just found out the seats make your lower back hurt alot after driving for awhile so might get some newish seats and chuck them in. sweet as i just need 1 cap for the back and a front bumper! i thought it said 650,000km's? hah thanks man oh also wondering if your alloud to run utes around manfeild??? im keen to take it out and see what times it does also had a race today against some guy in his celica with his mrs and shat on him hahaha 3sge=0 a15=1 i should be attending the next palmy meet in it

discuss here viewtopic.php?f=18&t=31203 so yeah i like 1 year ago a mate of mine rolled up with a datsun 1200 ute as his first car i was jelous as fuck and told him if hes ever keen to sell it text me. got a text the other day that hes keen to sell so i brought it with a fresh wof its got a a15 in it in dont know whats done to it but its nuts! 3rd gear standstills in the wet haha. its got rest leaves and 2 inch blocks and cuttys and short shocks im pritty sure shes pritty tidy just needs a little bit of rust work buy my plans over the years are just to buy new pannels and paintjob and a new motor? any thoughts? just standerd interior i think? with a cd player and 2 4inch speakers dont know if its the right k's but it high!!! i need 2 chrome bumpers if anyones got some? and a nardi steeringwheel would be nice iswell:) oh and also anyone know what that center console is out of?? oh yeah this is my daily driver at the moment iswell has also been destickerd thanks, mitchell
