Hey guys I Contacted Peter from North Shore Toyota and we are planning a DAYTIME meet (sat or sun) sometime mid july at their shop - NST. I just wanna know if anyone is interested? There might be prizes given away knowing NST..Perfect for photographers and all cars will be moved aside for bigger space. More Playstation 3 lan this time, hot chocolate and coffee machine available, showroom will be open etc etc... you know.. the good stuff.. and might even get him to bring in the tester to see what needs adjusting with the cars . he came in before and was a big help howroom will be open etcbut we'll see. i'll keep you guys updated If you guys don't know yet, NST won the Import Retailer of the year in NZPC. non toyotas welcome to come i guess? Thanks for coming guys! heaps of oldschool members came! it was a good turnout. more photos to come but here's a glimpse of it! oh yea if you guys are wondering why the cops are in the pic, they went past and decided to check out the cars like they were one of us. everyone followed the rules apart from them, did a holden skid and came back twice only to step on the gas more haha GC cops.. Hey guys, Another meet coming up in Auckland with a few interesting locations being discussed now. This is for next Thursday. we'll have photographers and a good backdrop. we might even have a sesh to give a car a proper photoshoot and would be nice to see oldchool cars in there. check it out. if you can't see the link, you'll have to like jzx nz then go to the event page i think event is usually created in my profile page but this is to make things easier for everyone. My mate didn't advertise it on trademe instead he advertised it in the jzx.co.nz. Im surprised that no one really was interested in getting it and it was there for 3 months listed for 2-3k It was all standard: granny seat covers, factory manual, factory weather shield and spoiler, factory tape player with optional clutch slip. I got my mate to convince his gf's dad to sell it to me for cheap hence I got it for 1k Photos by Winston The car even came with Genuine Toyota Wax Set from the 80's haha Score! and a set of old japanese unused spark plugs (which I have now used)

yea zeb is right. certifiers do recommend it for oldschool cars

nice. getting there. Never get linglong tyres man.. they've got really crap performance and your whole car (with a 1jz) is depending on your tyres haha its noisy as F*** and no grip at all.. i think i've got a pair of bridgestone potenzas bout 80% thread here that you can have.... for free... they're 185 55 14 for your rears. 3 years old now...

hey guys thanks for the all the reply, I think i'll keep it original and work my way around it Its good to see something that keeps its originality for a change, if i remove the silver trim that means i'll have to paint all the trims white around the bumper etc.. 15x9 with +5 to +10 should be fine for the rears. if one of our members managed to fit 15x9 with-9 offset with a lil bit of guard rolling then I dont see any problem:) i dont see the point of changing wheels atm because good ones are really hard to find haha. i'll make a thead for my car after i've done heaps on it, i've only had it for a few days Again, thanks for all the Suggestions
