rb drifter

todays progress, started sanding/bogging drivers door. still needs top coat of bogg and smoothing off removed the cut springs and replaced with standard sigma wagon rear springs, fitted perfectly!! also found that it was diff oil leaking onto the left rear brakes not brake fluid. so now time to investigate even more.

discovered it leaks oil and maybe fuel too, will add to the "to do" list along with everything else. in good news i fixed the ride height even more. used starion front shocks/brakes etc, bmw e30 superlow kingsprings minus 1 coil for the front and 1/2 a bumpstop. for the rear it has ke70 dobi springs minus 1 coil. needs shorter rear shocks to make them captive front crossmember is 85-90mm off the ground, needs to be lower i reckons

started attacking the rust around rear window, wish i hadnt now. was more than expected, gunna get the whole panel re made by same dude thats doing the rear quarters as its way out of my skills to fix. rear gaurds.... door for it. and other rust i will be able to do myself, hopefully..... just beacuse.....

found why oil was leaking everywere, was the turbo feed fitting had a crack in it so got it brazed up and is mint again. put another pair of superlow dobis from a 323 wag in the rear and its lower, more even with the front but i still want it another 1 &1/2 inches lower all round. will try do this with struts as cant be fucked paying for adjusties. scored a better muffler too which will be going on when i have some spare time/motivation. started picking at some of the rust and its gunna need some decent patches in some areas by the looks. least the bro will be doing for cheap anyways

think itl be wagon atteneding again, starion is not very happy atm and crown is way too freakin loud to be driving in town. ratshit i wanted to lay some phat skids in the stazz

gaurd came off car that was orange then had matty black spayed on it, sanded back a litle and there you have it. looks good tbh

could possibly get it romeved and get sheet steel welded in but that would mean have to get a new roof lining made up etc etc. hmmmmmmm something to think about anyway. oh seedy al, do you happen to know what brakes are in the rear of this crown? looks like cylinders are leaking really badly and will probly require new everything

yeah it is CDL's old one. mexican blanket keeps factory seats in good condtion. wish sunroof wasnt there sometimes, but ohwell its already there

got quoted $800 to make new rear gaurds/quarters as these ones are really rotten. so will be saving up for that. rest of rust and panelbeating i will get my mates old man to do and try a hand at it myself. also will be remaking exhaust to make it sit higher off the ground as it sits 30mm off road atm will be geting a full repaint once panels are all sorted, so should be a sweet car once paint and new motor is in it

there seems to be a wee bit of a problem atm. there was oil everywhere in engine bay and motor had a fire going on, suspect oil came from turbo line? will have a proper look when its not dark. fire burnt the ignition leads and not sure what else. was too dark to see. prety gutted as i was about to take it to my mates place to get rust repairs done so it can get a wof, just hoping i havent fucked the turbo. bummer oh well i did a phat skid before this happened

sussed out a 1980 sigma certed for turbo motor etc. but it has been crashed and panelbeated, then left outside for many years so is a very rusty car. plan is to use parts i need off it to get this se sigma running and either sell whats left of the 1980 one or leave it in shed and do rust repairs/get shell mint leave for future project. i seriously need some pics on this thread though its getting a bit boring.

got heart wheels back from getting redrilled, bit of issue for the fronts though, 14x8 with negative offset, thinking about getting centres cut out and re welded to change offset. although these do fit mint on my sigma sedan as it runs s13 silvia front suspension. back fit mint just have to run stretch tires. didnt really think a 14x10 would fit to be honest also scored me a one piece driveshaft finally so no more kronic vibrations!!!! fucking gay 2 piece shit. in other shit news, some lowlife douchebag stole my stereo, stereo suround trim and garage door opener. so if i find the theifing prick........ anyone got a wagon centre consol for deals by anychance? sedan ones and starion ones dont fit. ive already tried.

got the front back on the ground kinda..... had to put driveshafts under wheels to get jack out(dont have wood blocks).will have to take photo so all yous can lol at its ruffness put my 15" satarion wheels on and it tucks a litle tyre, without a gearbox, seats or fat pakeha/maori boy sitting in it. stoked with that but may end up having to lift it up a tad. still need to do some serios adjustments/thinking about steering setup.
