  1. might as well just get it tested and skimmed, not that expensive, when you factor in doing the job twice if it needed it. personally i wouldn't bother changing the head gasket without doing it. if your worried about doing valve stem seals, get them to do it when they skim it, but depends how long you want to keep it i guess. i would just get it done so its done. they are pretty straight forward to do
  2. funking beutifal, so rare these cars these days, i know of 3 others floating around, none are legal, one has had 1/4 of it chopped out (bent chasis rail)and replaced with a 1uz sitting in it now. would love to have one built from the ground up with st205 running gear in it.

    Fuel pumps

don't pull it out? leave it in, make it run full time, take off fuel feed, put it into a bucket, time for a minute, see how much is in there, figure out how much an hour, compare to what its supposed to do?

flow test it first. some walbros can be noisy because of the way they are mounted
  5. if you do try and scrape/chisel it off, use a heat gun. (worst case)
  6. oh hey, i got a masterpowers t04e lying around that i've been meaning to sell. after 850 for it done less then 1000km's before i went for a rebuild/bigger turbo because of hugely tired engine.
