  3. There is usually a classic/vintage car breakfast thing going on at govs pub as well on 1st Sunday of the month. Local bloke called Gavin Bain organises it. Cool cars. I will be wearing my new Hawaiian shirt, should be easy to spot. Looks like it might be wet, may leave the 49 morris at home. Only got front and rear glass. Will bring George along.
  4. nice. missus used to have one on hotwires. doing good, keep it up.
  5. battery voltage sensing wire. either connect it to the "+" terminal of the alternator, or as factory and direct to the battery "+". all it dose is regulate to battery voltage, eliminating any voltage drop in the main feed wire. good if the battery is far away from the alternator. most cars are fine to just hook it up to the "+" on the back of the alt.
  6. Windows should be ready next week. About 50 bucks each. Cheap I reckon. Triangle. Beer.
  7. too hard to stay pillarless, also too wobbly. have heard of convertables popping doors open over railway lines. i plan to use this as a daily, and thrash it all the time.
  8. have used kneadit on my triumph clutch cover/crank cover with good results. handles heat and oil well. filled a hole in the side of an indian race bike with it, still there 2 yrs later. good stuff. wear gloves though.
  9. big job, gonna lower it first. will probably do a body drop on the pylmouth when this is finished.
  10. first road test, still lots to do yet.
  11. used to have a single 45mm on an old escort i had, used a manifold that stepped up a bit. no need to remove the booster, and easier to tune. had heaps more low down and mid range than the twin 40s that were on it. http://www.ebay.com....d#ht_500wt_1361
  12. Will be straight pillars, looking for later guards. Lots of grinding and welding to make it work, but that's the look I'm after. remember, this is the learning job for the Plymouth ....
  13. Took all day just to get the new door to fit. another day to get the roofline looking the way I wanted it . One side nearly done. Not a 5 minute job, but making progress slowly. Plan to have it at the march meet..
