Ok thanks. i might just try refitting them. They are Lovell blocks. everything seems to fit the car perfectly. If problems are not solved i will maybe take some pictures and see if anyone spots anything...
I had a feeling it might of been something to do with blocks. doesnt look like theres any issues tho. The passenger side door also seems to sit a little bit further in.. but i dont know if thats relevant
On my Mk1 2door, the drivers side rear wheel sits further in than the passenger side. what could this be caused by? I have the occasional guard rub issue at the back but the passenger side has alot more problems than the drivers side..
I hate prepping. haha.
Well i will just see what happens. The most important car will be done last so i have 2 to practise on .
What do guide coats do?
Ive started one of them. seems fine to me. but might look like shit when it comes out painted haha. im not 100% sure what i should be looking for. yeah i think i have the bog sussed anyway. last bog job i did looked mint haha
Sanding down whole cars/van haha. So 120 is good for the bog? and 500ish to sand down the paint? how much do i need to sand down the paint? so its lost all its shine?
I am getting someone to paint my car for me. But I am told different things by different people. At the moment i am just sanding. Sandpaper best to use is? and how far down do i need to sand to have it ok to primer/paint over? I hear so its kinda rough. if that makes sence?
Cheers
What do you think I could sell this for. Wof and Reg.
poor student failing badly with this thing.
P.S
How much could i get this painted for with a decent job but not at a pro shop?
Ok the worlds slowest ever project is going in for a warrent tomoro because I need a car again. But it fucking rubs in the back with the 2" blocks in. So cant have people in the back and its a cunt.. its got standard guards and 13x7 hotwires and 205 60s on the back
