i have given the AAC a clean, i tried to adjust it, may have failed at that...

On RB20DET Starts and idles at 2000rpm, after it warms for a bit it goes down to 1000rpm, then 2000rpm when its been running for a while (driving etc).

Now that my new AFMs on, its still got issues, Starts and idles at 2000rpm, after it warms for a bit it goes down to 1000rpm, then 2000rpm when its been running for a while (driving etc).

Having some issues with my rb20det in my s13, starts sweet as and runs awesome when cold. but after being run for a small time it doesnt like low revs as it fouls up when you try to rev it up after being run low revs (running rich???) If you rev it right up then let it return to idle it will cut and try stall. after it does this the idle starts to fluctuate. and again trys to stall. I cleaned my AAC valve today. it made it better but it still isnt right. Any ideas how i can fix this??

Aparently to enter certain events etc the "rat" look isnt allowed to it had to be changed

Haha i know. should of reworded that. Anything modified i have owned are all carby oldschool stuff.

My guess was running rich. But I really dont know.. If i drive it in low revs it starts to foul up.

Might give this a go in the weekend hope its the problem.

Have a RB20DET in my s13 silvia. And have a couple of issues. Its a bitch to start when its cold When warm it does idle (it jumps up and down) yet will idle sweet for a small bit when the fuel pump gets switched off Goes mint when being thrashed a bit but at low revs it will foul up and run like shit (I think this comes down to not having hopt enough plugs as it has cheap shit ones) And I think that is all

I dont care if its strong or not i just want it fixed. I was gonna put it on trademe the day it started playing up :/ Just want to fix it then try sell it..

Having gearbox issues and just pulled it out of my ute. It jams up and doesnt go into gear,pops out of reverse,is very loose(stick moves alot) and gets jammed when going into 5th (gets stuck in 5th position but stays in neutral) Suggestions?

I know the backs of the back seats are interchangable between coupe and sedan on a mk1. But can i use the back of the back of a mk2 sedan on my Mk1 coupe. Bit of a stretch buut....

If thats the reason you want a 5 speed an easier option may be to find a lower ratio diff. and maybe even larger wheels/tyres for a larger rolling diametre

Bushes are sweet. Doesnt appear to be cracked at all. Getting the bolt out at the front of the leaf is an absolute C&%T I tell ya.

Just a quick question The drivers side of my escort sits quite a bit lower at the back than the passengers. What can I do to get the leaves to sit evenly. Or could it be something else like one side is just old and sagged.

Yeah it will be cool anyway. just thought having it look oldschool with an engine being "carried" on the back would be awesome. is it getting a wellside at all?
