  2. am looking at buying a w50 box, but this guy doesnt seem to sure on it any numbering on it that would make it certain to be a w50?
  3. yeah am going to see him today to pick up some parts off him, he said he has quite a bit of pieces for this, will see what he has. Waiting on the waterpump to be rebuilt on the victor, gives me a spare weekend. Need to get my ass back in gear with fixing the viva. Too many cars, so little time

  6. Am getting a bedford front engine xmember and mounts for it, wondering if i need the steering rack with it? (also getting carb, wpump, fuel pump, dizzy)
  7. well took waterpump off and gave to a mate to try source another part from autostop, was a no go, but have taken out thermostat and housing for cleaning, will have to get waterpump rebuilt, along with master and slave cylinders now, so tomorrows mission is so take out those and send them off, then another 5 tyres
  8. Scored his bad boy for free, engine was siezed, just got it unsiezed today, wasnt too bad at all, should be up and running in a few day, no dents at all, no rust, perfecto really.
  9. you little beauty, just what i wanted to hear. had some guy come buy the carb nd intake off my viva (1256) to put on one of his HA's, he has like 3 of them, one with a 2l ford motor in it (didnt specify what one) which ran 14's back in 85'. God dam i wish i had that HA
  10. have heard rb30e driveshaft will go into a 20e box, anyone actually know? easier to buy a manual 30e driveshaft for cheap off my mate thats wrecking a vl then get the manual 20e yolk cut and welded onto auto shaft.

  13. have a pair on rims i bought with cracks in one. Leaked so obviously no good. Wondering how hard to weld up the cracks in it/someone to go to/cost of getting them welded up, will have to get some pics, not too bad of a crack just want to know how much it'll set me back. Even any OS boes in AKL tht can weld and want to do a cashy. Will get pics up within the next half hour as they at a mates, will bring them back to mine. are rays engineering volk racing rims, 5 stud 17 X 9
  14. how much you want for it? front suspension/disc brakes nd such, front and rear seats, diff and axles nd hubs and dshaft
  15. cracked a head on my c33 rb20e laurel, had a new head put on there with timing set and all, hooked up all the hoses and dizzy and air intake and injectors and all, is turning over but not igniting..any ideas? Dizzy is connected properly and only other thing i can think of is injectors. Hooked up fuel lines the same way a friends 20e laurel was hooked up. Had to change over some parts of air intake and plugs as the new head is off an r33 and has some different plugs then the c33 loom. Any help would be awesome. was using the friends running 20e as an example for everything to get hooked up. Will get pics of the engine bay tomorrow if that will help. Just keeps turning over and over.
  16. so with your swamp monster being a magnum does it have the more bucketed seats in it? and 1800 diff and such, keen as for that if your gonna put it all into the new white one
  17. got new ignition module today, fixed it straight away, cheers for the help. only set me back $40 to, least its going again
  18. yeah no spark going from ignition moduel to dizzy. hasnt been playing up, getting fuel and all. Got a mate @ autostop pricing me up another ignition module tomorrow hope it isnt too expensive.
  19. my cordia was working fine yesterday, tried to start it tonight and it keeps turning over but wont start. coil makes like 2 ticking noises making me think its that but prefer a 2nd opinion. anything i can do to test my coil to see if it is infact that?
  20. o0o viva owner also, how about shortened shocks for the rear? have cut dobi's in there atm, sits nice in the front, but the rear is still too high
  21. my cordia gsr elec fan is on a temp sensor, but seems to engage when the engine is too hot, never seems to go otherwise, how hard is it to hook up to ignition wire and run it off ignition.
  22. dam would love to get that 1800 diff off you, would you sell any of your spare 2.3 parts? need to build up a 2.3 myself
  23. edit: radiator bleed, just keeps turning over but doesnt fire/ignite. and hear clunking noise. cant be tht the starter motor went at the same time with wpump went AND fanbelt snapped? was running before all this happened.
  24. have just changed waterpump and fanbelt on laurel, put it all back together, turns over, doesnt leak. but after about 4 turns it gives a cracking noise from the engine somewhere. cant figure out what it is, was working fine before pump and belt went. Any thoughts would be awesome, am stumped
  25. sweet another person with a viva, hmm i dunnno bout shocks but i got dobi springs cut all round on mine, need new shocks though..wonder if the monroes mentioned would fit in.
