how do they do a flare like this with steel fuel line? as im runing a new fuel line and dont want the efi flexi line to just burst off under pressure...

ok so will a complete 2.6 astron and box from a l200 bolt into a lancer? or will gearbox crossmember ect be way different? what about the drive shaft?

well it has to be a standard 4g63 box as its bolted to a evo 3 7 bolt motor.....

its going into my 78 lancer has a 4g63 evo (7bolt not vr4)setup atm but want to put 2.6 astron? it wont will it as wideblock vs narrow? Or? will the 2.6astron and 5 speed fit into the lancer? and goto the standard driveshaft?

Hey will a 2.6 4g54 astron motor bolt upto a standard l200 flywheel and gearbox? also to standard l200 mounts?

why goto all that trouble? rx7 4 pots will go onto sigma struts with rx7 disk's u just gota redrill disk... then run celica inserts with a coil over kit that u put onto the stock struts... and if u want to go all out get some bilstein inserts for celica struts... they go into the sigma ect struts and are beefyer... thats what i was going todo...

sooooo this is now for sale as i dont have time to finish it or the room to store it.... and i have 5 other cars demanding attention.... will try and get the motor wired up and get it running but it realy needs a new exhaust/intake gasket...... but will try some gasket cement just to get it going. will post trademe link soon

my motor has been bored out cant remember totaly capacity, the 192hp motor has been sold was a damn nice looking motor is in te awamutu well was. Keep watching the thread and ill get some more pics tomorrow maybe

Picked up motor tonight and had a better chat to the guy about it and turns out the heads been ported a polished aswell >_< score for $200. gave me heaps of other suff to and also scored some wide as 10" rims that are ment to be worth a bit.... so will look at droping the motor into the frame this weekend altho i would love to take it to work and sand blast it first but mite just get it going for now then pull it all back apart and upgrade

So scored this little offroader for free from the local scrapy i know Is fairly well made and i will modify it slightly for a bit more roll over protection as there is a quary i will be blasting arround and if i go over the edge its gona be a rush Went to see a mini guy today and he offerd me a 192hp mini motor but we both figured it would be over kill so settled for a motor thats got a nice cam and flat top forged piston's rebuilt by a race shop and only done 200ks since then due to the car snaping in half heh. Want to get a better carb for it as he only had a crapy standard one also scored a mint radiator for free. and finaly have a use for my old belts just need a good seat now. Heres some pics. So this thursday i pick up Motor & Box nice aftermarket mini sports steering wheel spare brakes + axels steering rack maybe some widend rims as he has a few!

Ok so have just scored a mini powerd go kart that is fucking awsim! full independent suspention front and rear. My question is are all mini motors mounted the same and run the same drive axel bolt up setup ect ect? as this has no motor/box but has the custom cutdown axels still. also what is the best bang for buck mini motor/box how strong are the blocks? e.g turbo heh

Well after deciding to build a rwd evo powerd lb lancer i discoverd the "evo motors cant be rwd" bullshit. Guess what they can be and bloody simple! U will need a evo 1,2,3 flywheel Next get the spigot bearing machend into it, Find a 4G36 flywheel and get the ring gear off it then get the ring gear from the evo flywheel taken off and put the 4G36 ring gear onto the evo 3 7 bolt flywheel. This ring gear is ALOT bigger than the stock evo ring gear but runs the same internal diamiter. By doing this the ring gear now meets upto the stock starter on the l200/starion gearbox! this saves u having to cut the bellhousing. Next i used l200 4G63 engine mounts and the standard LB lancer crossmember ALL crossmembers are the same DONT listen to crap about the 1200/1600 crossmembers being different as i have test fitted my motor to BOTH! in a ex this could be differnt and u most probably will need the 2ltr? crossmember! Now the engine mounts bolt directly onto the block! the wholes ARE THERE. so dont listen to people who say they arnt! ive personaly used the RVR motor for the simple reason no Cam sensor! its on the crank witch means i dont have to bash my firewall!, I am just going to rewire a evo loom to accept this.

looks alot better clean tho. got some sounds for it today new headdec and some nice 6x9's will redo rear window shelf and mould the 6x9's in then going to recover the rear seat. when the roof gets fixed will get nice new black hood linen.. then replace carpets and put buckets into the front. gona sell the other shell i think
