Haha nah will keep them until exhaust mkII
Need a new header, so will update exhaust then to make slammadge more possible.
but yeh, FUCK YEH hardtop! no more leaks!
So cleaned up all the contacts. Helped a little bit. but was still turning real slow.
Took all the spark plugs out and bam, no problem, freaking flys. So, that can only lead me to one conclusion, it's the starter that doesn't have enough grunt.

I asked him, and he said it leaks from one head stud. so that could mean a cracked head. Would make alot of sense if what you have stated is possible
haha yes, he still needs to replace his.
Guess it's jsut one of those things that happen on old cars. Maybe someone in the future can fix his flux capacitor
hmm yea this power cable is rather thin.
EDIT : forgot to add that there is probably sweet FA compression. Don't know if this will be a factoring issue
I think starter is in relatively good condition.
Hey guys. weird scenario, don't quite know what's happening.
Car : ford Escort
Problem : when the car is being started for the FIRST time everyday the engine does not want to turn. Winds over incredibly slowly and after about 5 winds it finally starts.
Have replaced battery 3 days ago. Still exactly the same situation.
Once the car has been started once for the day it has no problem starting for the rest of the day.
Has anyone experienced this before ? Or able to shed some light?
Regards
Dave
To find tyre size recomendations, just go to the manufacturer's website, click the tyre you want and usually comes up with a list of tyre size vs wheels width
im finding that torque figure very hard to believe. 2040Nm of torque from an 1800.
Someone explain please. Mate 1J on 7psi is making about 230kw and 1400Nm. I do not see how an 1800 can produce more torque than that.
