  1. Need to mention again thanks to @Thphantum and @MaxPower for the amazing commitment to the weekend, throwing themselves into the deep end of a crazy oldschool sorta gathering by picking up the pieces of the weekends antics as they died roadside, bike or otherwise. This sorta event couldn't happen without a support vehicle or 2 as the last few days have shown. Roadside bunnings snags, broken bikes, broken people, broken support vehicles, supply restocking, gear carting, the list goes on, they did it all without complaint A+ guys
  2. Wow that was a sweet adventure. My knees are chooched, not much articulation happening today. Thanks to everyone for showing up and having the right attitude all weekend. Also thanks for being well behaved at the bach. Clean up was a breeze while the lighthouse ride was happening. That Waimata valley road was awesome, good fast flowing gravel. Im keen to get away from gizzy early next year and take that way all the way through to Te Puia springs. In summary everyone was good nobody died. Live hard ride free etc
  3. Nothing like some last minute prep Rinsed excess/all oil out of the filter and disposed of the dregs thoughtfully, running like it should again Someone somewhere mentioned having the right size exhaust pipe tip for small 2T engines, since this is running a 80cc spanny/exhaust on a 68cc BBK I figured it might be a tad too big/back pressure is needed/something so welded OG tip onto the Gianelli muffler. Butt dyno says braaaaps have increased on hills Got spare plugs today and gapped them down to what other small Suzuki engines are supposed to run since TS50 info online is pretty non existant Mixed up a couple of tanks of braaaaap juice and got together a spares/tool kit. Hurry up tomorrow arvo so I can hit the road
  4. Block the OMP and run premix to atleast rule that out as a cause/too late now/bring the GN slug
  5. Sounds good @64valiant. I knock off at 11.30 should be ready to braaaaap by 1pm sorta thing
  6. I plan on being brave and leaving the TS alone outside the Taneatua botly for 2 mins while I grab some coldies. Then give them a good shake up on the pannier over Stanley road, if they bike is still outside the bottly after said 2 mins
  7. Got email G and yeah il be braaaaping(hopefully) up the driveway sometime mid arvo

  10. Lol if its raining up there mud will be the least of your worries. Getting the chally thru the ford will be more of a problem
  11. Thought id fuuuu’d something on the TS last night Turns out it doesn’t like the filter being freshly oiled
  12. Forecast is saying showers for Friday and rain Saturday morning clearing by arvo Will have wet weather gears in the bottom of my pack but hopefully they never have to come out
  13. This wind better bugger off otherwise its gunna be punishing on top speed
  14. Relay wired into ign switch and wires with plug run to ammo case so I can remove it easily. Everything fits perfect with bit of room for tools/phone/speaker for roadside tunes.
  15. Just need to wire in usb plug and fit a relay to run it then we in business
