  1. I honestly don't know how the cat even got up there.. I just turned around and she was putting on a tightrope act. There isn't much to stand on up there!!
  2. Hey I was just about to put white steels on it! ( lol serious)
  3. This thread is why I thought threads about ordinary dailys was OK
  4. Man you guys are the coolest couple. So cool how she always seems genuinely interested and keen to help out. My wife has no idea what goes on in the shed ( probably a good thing actually) That plenum lid looks great, you have done real well!
  5. Hey man. This thing is so beautiful. Such a nice shape. Why does the front of the bonnet on these always look high?
  6. Yeah problem with that is the cost of custom studs- may as well get the billet hubs ( approx 500$)
  7. I didn't think they would exist, great idea. Or, drill in correct position large enough to clean off old hole, machine tophat bushes to suit holes and studs
  8. Kneedit then drill? Nah not using spacers.
  9. Got some front hubs here. I may want ti go from 5x115 to 5x120. I can't stagger the holes because of webbing on the back face. I don't thing welding is a safe option because of material. As its only approx 2.5 mm offset per stud I can't plug the hole then drill as the remaining bit of plug will just fall out. I'm thinking maybe braze up the holes then drill. What are people's thoughts, asside from just ordering the correct billet hubs ( or using trailer hubs and possibly modifying spindle )
  10. Hamilton. I'll give those guys a call to make sure they can do what I need. Place in the states does ls1 injectors out to 1,000cc and its pretty damn cheap considering new injector cost!
  11. That's the base bolted in. The rusty shit is from a leaky heater core. And that's the shifter in place. I need to re-drill and tap its mounting holes as its not quite center. Opps. Pretty happy with today's project overall
  12. I second eBay NASCAR stuff I've not bought anything yet but there's some cool stuff going cheap!
  13. Hahaha in one of those vids he fucks everyone off and gets banned for a while. I'm not too interested in skids though to be honest- more than anything I just want to test myself and my ball size down the quarter. If I could get the front wheels off the ground I'd be happy!! Fiero front end being dropped off tomorrow- it should give me approx 2" wider track up front- so my skinnies won't tuck so bad. Will be interesting to run a tape over that lot. Anyone with a gem want to upgrade to Pontiac fiero front brakes? Lol
  14. Oh and I have to re-do that pulley after working out why the lathes DTI is inaccurate- it used to be absolutely spot on- it now has no correlation to what the cross slide is doing at all- *%%<!¥!! that might be one for the lathe thread
  15. So I got to work an hr early today and did this. It's made to mount my b&m shifter to the factory shifter bracket. It was an easy way of sealing the hole in the trans tunnel that the factory shifter uses and it means I didn't have to mess with adding new mounting points to the tunnel. Tig welded- not as perfect as I'd like but I'm getting better quickly There will be a rubber gasket under this to block all the holes and once the zinc spray has dried I'll find some black. I want to carpet the car once finished so will slit carpet and tuck under the hoop so the cover of the shifter will kinda float above the tunnel and all this will be hidden. I hope the images are an ok size as I do everything via my cell and its hard to tell.
  16. Just go with old school serial (or whatever they are called) plugs and sockets everywhere like megasquirt uses. Joking, those plugs are yuuuuck. I wish they used something a bit more robust
  17. Here's one from a guy I sold my LS intake to. http://www.914club.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=332491 Turbo ls1 Porsche
  18. That is a great idea!... The first bit that comes out would be super hot though lol
  19. Please don't paint that thing- it's fucking awesome! Proportions are spot on. Love the full size windscreen
  20. I just grab these from work whenever needed- was in SCA the other day and saw their price to buy them individually- HOLY SHIT!!
  21. Is it true that glass packing turns to dust and leaves it empty eventually?
