Make the rear suspension as hard as possible to minimise squat and get a good launch. Rubber spring blocks work well for this

Not quite oldschool but i have been offered the standard springs from my mates ae92 fxgt corolla that im thinkng of puting into my st171 corona daily/work hack, my questions are: 1: Will they fit, i havn't had an oppourtunity to measure anything yet 2: Will it f*** the handling or improve it.
