Found a more comprehensive gasket yesterday. Trying that. The ones from repco are just single pieces that slot in on each port. Been through 3 of these . Thanks for all the help!

Interestingly enough the vibration in the steering was happening before i put the 2l in. Its suddenly got alot worse. Ive redone all of the bushes upfront also. But good thinking on that one

This is what i thought. Maybe sticking it up in the mill and running a DTI over the head/ headers

For some strange reason the exhaust gasket on my pintho "blows out". By this i mean the gasket gets pushed out thus causing a gas leak from the headers. Granted the headers are a coby item . Everything is done up to almost stripping point. The gasket will last the best part of say 500kms. Ideas? past experinces? All help would be much appreciated! Matt. P.s Also need to borrow some 4/108 wheels and tires for 1-2 hours any will do. Beer or money will be provided for donor. In auckland
