  3. So yeah got it slammed last night - need to take a little more out the front.. But the key thing is the structure is 100.015mm off the ground (not counting the exhaust which is about 80mm) and it scrapes going in and out of my garage - sweet - achieved both key requirements to me.. next level! power up! whoop whoop sorry bout the shit cellphone pics - will take the camera along next time..

  6. Got springs out last night for resetting and making lowering blocks at work today - free box section FTW!! I'm dropping 3.5 Inches front and 3 Inches rear - it will make the lowest part of the car (the exhaust) 85mm off the ground. Won't quite get the wheel tuck I wanted but thats pretty hard to do with 50 series sidewalls. If I step up to 60 series I think it may be just right and should bring the car up close to the magic 100mm - sweet! Slammed 3.5 inches and legal!! JEAH!!
  7. yeah HARD!! So Kyteler - if I was to buy a certain 240C from down Gore - how much would it cost me to get you to tow it to Chch for me? Obviously it woudl not be urgent - just whenever you know of an empty truckk heading that way? Or are you not in that game at the mo?
  8. if it takes a tap with the hammer its generally a swollen rubber seal - rekit the cyl - making sure you clean all contaminants out of the line and master/slave whilst rebuilding.

  19. totally spam/off topic but I worked on a chaps Bambina that had half a Fiat Uno engine in it.. The guy could never get it going right/vibration crazy as - IMHO opinion but noone would believe me is that the firing order was out of sync. it had half the crankshaft from the uno - but with the journals 180 degrees apart, I stated it would have run much better having the journals siamese then you could have run the firing 360 degrees apart instead of firing at 0 degrees and 180 degrees then 540 of nothing until firing again. Noone would believe me and I wonder to this day if that car ever got further than a awesome idea that idled really rough.. remember that a 4 stroke has 720 degrees of rotation for a full cycle as opposed to a 2 strokes which are only 360 degrees for a full cycle..
  20. ever heard of a lotus?? = kent block with lotus head (also front timing cover and pulleys etc) but it is a twin cam kent as you ask...
  21. I(f I wanted a motor bike I would just buy one. My only consern for the going backward part with a starter motor is torque for hills etc Allan Al - if you are seriously keen to do this I would happily cut up my austin and work with you/pay half of the conversion.... / always wanted to do this..

I'm going for Ford Falcon EF riyums - matty b 15"- Should fit with minimal rolling of guards I hope.. then slamming the shit out of it - maybe 2-3 inches in bum (resetting leaves and low profiles) and 2.5-3.5 inches in front (custom springs and low profiles) Whatever it takes to get the look right or the sill parallel to the ground.
