  2. Yeah cheers guys, pretty happy with it so far, just want to ride it! Dannys Suzuki TC90/Crazy Frog was the inspiration for this paint job, not going anything too crazy with the decals. As wild as the colour looks, it's actually pretty close to a factory 70s green, so will be just white panel with a pin stripe on it, and factory badge or something similar.

Cant wait to put the decals on the side to break it up alittle, Looks pretty "massive green tank" on the bike, but once the decals are on it should tame it down abit Next up finish the forks, and then drop it off to get the seat done. then everything else Cheers Hayhole

  5. this is the colour Ive decided to go for, OG Suzuki colour. Anyways in other news, started lowering the forks, half bolted the bars on for the first time in fuck knows when. no pics at the moe, will sort some later when ive actually done some real work
  6. I did not like that welcome. not at all.
  7. Tricked off a couple of boxes last night... .....and found some news ones, Doh. The bigger tires are just touching the rear drum brake arm. Should be an easy fix, doesnt need alot of clearance. Cut up the new gear lever, and welded on the old arm. Now clamps tight on the shaft, [insert jokes about mothers and or teen daughters here] Finally re welded the foot pegs, after fucking them up and having them fold up the wrong way, [face palm] Good job Noticed while its been sitting on this box, as i keep adding parts the bikes got more and more balanced Dont real know if that mean dick, but yeah, cool story Mums (real mum) over from Ozzie next week, Ive taken a week off work, might try and lower the front end if I get a day where we arn't doing anything. that is all.
  8. Bahaha good shit, nar man looking mean! I loving those forks. coming togeather real good Have some gaurds aswel that you might be keen on
  9. Hi Chris. Well this is shit isnt it. I konw u prazed mine but i think you should set this on fire.
  10. yup yup, that should be the next job really, then i can finally put the bars on. Will lower it around 130-150mm, would like to have 100mm of fork leg below bottom tree, which might mean ill still have to slide sum tube up the clamps but no more than 20mm, will see how they lower, Also will try to take step by step photos for peeps wanting to know how, no promises haha
  11. Got my tank seal kit form Union paints in Newtown, but yeah shouldnt be that hard to find, think Ive seen it on Trademe aswel Ordered a couple of other things aswel, that Id forgotten about.... Old gear lever was flogged out more than your dads arse hole. Couldn't find a GN400 one, so just got a cheap Taiwan special to fit a Suzuki and will cut to up to suit, old one on the left - new one on the right. And some heat wrap CAM00447 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Sprayed the bar clamps (not on in this photo), and have set the rear shock bump stops up aswel, Because I dont want to compromise on looks, even when parked/without riders weight, its running fairly tight tire-to-guard gap, results in about 23mm of shock travel haha, but that relates to around 2 inches (maybe 1 1/2) of wheel travel, hopefully this is ok for WOF, If its not guess I can swap the factory ones in for WOF Havent had it under its own weight yet to see how much it drops by but should be bugger all with the new YSS's, being that there for a Dyna Glide weighting 300kgs wet. Plus I can dial it in as stiff as I want, but hopefully still ride-able, but its always gonna be softer compared to the bobber haha CAM00445 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Cheers
  12. cheer man. Its the factory stock front with abit of hammering/loving
  13. Not a heap going on worth taking photos, so havent been updating this. Mainly been working on the tank, whole lota Weld grind weld grind weld blow hole weld grind, that'll do, then tank sealing But all done now, just waiting on it to harden. 96 hours cure time. CAM00423 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Drying tank completely before tank sealer goes in, wife loved coming home to this shit! Laura "Yay your baking" Me "When the fuck do I even bake?" open oven, and pull out fuel tank Laura face = Anyway Had been into Boyles all lastweek trying to get the last few pieces of the puzzle. CAM00437 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr New 520 O-ring chain, CAM00436 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr New front sprocket, which was the last piece for the drive line, and probably the purchase Im most happy about with the whole build so far CAM00428 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Brand new YSS rear shocks CAM00429 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Got such a good deal from Boyles Kawasaki. $550 odd RRP, I got them for WELL below half price. CAM00431 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Have turned out to be a sweet hook up. There colour combo is a spot on balance with the front end. Black, brushed alley and chrome all tie in with the front end and the whole colour shceme in genral CAM00433 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Stocked! CAM00434 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr and the best part is that there ment for a Harley (no offence to the Harley boys) so now ive got GN250 and Harley parts on this bike. Living the dream! Just need a cam-am to complete the picture. CAM00439 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr CAM00441 by Hayden Rowe, on Flickr Next up, wait for tank to do its thing, then hand over to Mathers for bog life/ then paint seat order Muffler cut chain to size and fit etc etc etc Cheers Hay-hole
  14. If I could redo mine, Id go full fendered slam. Something abit different, everyone cuts the backs off, each to there own, I cut the back off mine too haha
  15. dont run those bearing cages aswel, just loose bearings with plenty of grease, the cages are shit
  16. should be a pretty easy fix, My Mk2 snapped a auto gear selector cable, and was a pretty simple fix/easy to work on room wise. Have you manage to get parts all good?
  17. Think ill just run the Renthal bars that it came with, There abit stuffed tho, so have been looking for a replacement bar. They'll let the bike down I reckon, But I do like the bar itself, shape and size, maybe abit narrower
  18. nar, just came up in pinterest edit:, just googled the picture, and came up with this http://silodrome.com/1932-talbot-boat-tail/
  19. tank seal, bog, sand, bog, sand, re prime, paint, baste with semen! fit petcock, fill with petrol, find all the holes on first ride, start over. gun mental gay is the colour
  20. edit; Was flicking back through the build photos, noticed id missed out the part where i sprayed the frame 2k satin black. So in my hast in getting the front end back in, didnt realize Id put the forks on backwards haha dumbarse But anyway, heres the wheels in, wasnt going to paint the wheels or polish the drums when I started out, but chrome was stuffed and hubs needed something happening to them really happy with the headlight aswel, got it awhile back but nice to see it on the bike finally fresh paint! First time ive seen it all one colour Since I had the wheels all but done, thought I might aswel put a new sprocket on there, figured it would be a black one as thats what come off, turned out to be a silver one, which kinda didnt like at first but stoked with now Went round to mates workshop where Id sprayed the motor, decided the best way to get the motor back to my work without scratching it would be to just put it back in the bike. So a few Friday night beers and some help from a few of the boys, Mathers, Ed and Cheygen, and its back in the hole Cheers HayHole
