  1. Talk to Al after the ballet. I went and it is just one huge perve fest. And you get brownie points for going.
  2. Pics of Pirellis too. Are they nice? You keens to sell? haha Stud pattern 4*98pcd! Bloody italians. Offset on them is +60 also
  3. Neither but here are some pics: Pirelli wheels on the car at the mo: Really polish up well and have handpolished them so just need to change abit of rubber around and all sorted. and simmons:
  4. haha yip. The pirelli are rims not rubber, i am a poor student. Got the simmons for a stupid price from someone i had helped out a bit with his racecar. They look great though. But in some regard pefer the pirelli rims
  5. Cheers guys, will drop into tonys. Might take a couple at a time. Would hate to a full set of simmons with rubber and a full set of pirelli wheels and rubber sitting somewhere besides my place for too long.
  6. Anyone has access to a wheel changing machine.? After being charged 36 bucks last time to change and balance two wheels i am keen to find a slightly more wallet friendly place. I have two sets of wheels/tyres combos i need to change. Happy to pay either beer, food or cold hard cash. Cheers
  7. You need to match manifold inlet tracks to head ports rather than gasket to ports. The trick is to make dowels so the manifold is in the same position each time you dummy fit to see your handy work. Once these dowels are in bolt the manifold up and spray some paint down the tracks and it will show you a guideline. Then grind away to make it asmooth transition. Only have to go to 80 grit sandpaper to finish. Not knowing what head this is i would do some research as to someone having already done it. Last thing you want to do is hit a gallery. Good luck and take your time.
  8. Awesome that is a mess.
  9. Cool, so whole engine. Well worn path the 405 engine swap. 200 ponies in a old hatch, i like.
  10. The project's coming along nicely Cam. What sort of power you hoping with 16v head and itb's?
  11. That would be the main event, there is a shake down event in june in rotoveags. Very good practice for the main targa for both drivers and teams. Your be fine Chris as weekend 9th june. Still wof, i am pretty sure my silver abarth is the same. wof out the week after and like you always fun times. esp handbrake!
  12. The abarths come with twin forties so can use same manifold, just need to make adapter. Easier enough, your right about 45s being about a grand, but what does throttle bodies cost? About the same? Plus i feel the carbs are in keeping with the car.
  13. With Steve, 45s all the way. That way you can call on the knowledge of guys who have been there before. Also sound great with the induction i must say. A dam sight cheaper than FI also. The new silver car is quick i must say. Picton to Chch in under 3hrs is pretty good going in it. When are you hoping to have engine done? Am up for rotovegas targa with Stacey. Could have the silver 130tc then if i don't fly.
  14. The surgery...i had some work done there and must say paid top dollar but happy with work. Although time will tell, have heard too many dodgey stories about the work there. A shame really.
  15. Impressive work all round. Like the work on the ford i must say. Will keep an eye out next time at manfield.
