  3. hey guys, im heading down ur guys way for a couple of weeks for work, im gonna be in christchurch 6th,7th or march then heading to dunedin to work on the 9th, then back to chirstchurch and then up to nelson for a couple of weeks(altho ill be back in hamilton for graduation then whangas for beach hop) but then on 29th march im heading back down, and then if all goes according to plan will be in franz joseph glacia, then fox glacia till about the end of april, pritty much on the go non-stop but wld be mint to catch up with some of you guys while im down there.   6. im agreeing with everyone else, happend in my ute couple months ago, all up cost me bout $850, dat got me, new big ends, did mains while i was at it, crank grind, cam belt, oil and filter and full gasket set. and we did all the work except the grank grind
  7. if ur asking what i think your asking then the answer is the disc hits the tierod end, beacause the BMW disc is thicker then the solid standard disc, so it sticks in more, make sense, if not ill go try take a photo,

  9. mines this set up, re drill to fit hubs as stated, then also if i remember correctly the center hole of the disc needs to be machined out, and my hub needed a slight machine, its in my build up viewtopic.php?f=17&t=8627&start=0 and with the calipers mine dont foul, but i did split the caliper and took bout 2mm out of the middle to suit the thinner disc,

  11. i know you dont want to change the hubs, so get a new diff with different stud pattern and then redrill the front stud pattern to suit, we done this on dads car, just idea tho?
  12. been a while, well i bought some new rims for if, 13x7 cheviot quattroz, only got them on the back for now, gona put them on the front after a slight suspension modifiaction, so they fit under the standard gaurd, some told me id never get 7 inch wide under there but i will, enjoy

  14. its carby, but ive decided to just change the bearings, took motor out 2day bigend bearing cylinder 1, lil scratches on bearing, crank mint bigend bearing cylinder 2, same az above bigend bearing cylinder 3, scratching on crank, bearing delaminated in one corner bigend bearing cylinder 4, scratching on crank, bearing completly delaminated and sitting in bottom of sump
  15. hello, i needa bit help on my daily, i got an 89 isuzu flat deck single cab ute, running the 2.3 motor, was drivn around 2nyt and it sounds like ive run a bottom end bearing, ok i can handle that, but my question to all the isuzu nuts is what the difference between the 2.3 and the 2.6, and not the 300cc(for the smart arses) do the run the same block but different bores etc? wld it bolt on to orginal. cause one of these may be better to go with, any help much appricated Jezz

  22. nah just had the brakes overhalled and wheel bearings dun really, all orginal except for the wheels of corse, my plans are slam it and put a sterio in for summer, so to do this i have to convert from 6 volt to 12 volt. then down the track will put a small block mopar in it, and maybe a jag front end, might also go down the road of air bags but will see if i can be motivated will take more photos tomorrow
