Yes, someone might have to take the lead on the bunkroom booking, and try herding cats to ensure everyone within has a bed accounted for and collect $$ etc. Bunkroom requires you to bring your own bedding, hence me going for the upscale options. Also Bill requires all garbage is taken away with at your departure, so we might have to do a dump run as part of Day 3.

Except between Gisborne and Te Araroa on day two, we will travel an inland route through hill country and forestry. Route is over public roads, tarseal and gravel. Recommend riders are comfortable with gravel, but can travel at their own pace, and learn as you go. Day one from near Ohope to Gisborne, via Motu Rd and Rere Rockslide and Falls. Day two from Gisborne into the hills, to Te Araroa/Hicks Bay for the night, optional side trip to lighthouse. Day three from Te Araroa, follow the coast back through Ohope to our starting point. Got a few bits and pieces on the XR100 the other day. Still need to try repair the OE handguards, fit an engine bolt, fork boots, wheel bearings, tubes, should probably do tyres too, check valves and basic tune up shit. Well done! No my brumby is a rusty disassembled mess that is beyond my skills right now.

My wife had indicated she wouldn't mind spending time with me, and maybe an outing in the jetboat would be nice. Uh ok. Managed to get boat in the water relatively easily at the Waiotahi river mouth. Went upstream till she wasn't happy anymore. Found a upturned dingy submerged, resting on the riverbed, also which she didn't find as 'cool' as me. Wouldn't mind going a little further perhaps another time.
