  1. Pretty keen to see what they'd be like with said tyres... Do Tony's etc ever refuse to fit a tyre that's clearly the wrong(right) size for the rim?
  2. Sweet cheers. And yeah, always do the "Hey Tony, I found these guys sell this for $xxx". They usually reply with "Wow that's cheap, are you sure that's fitted and balanced." But they gotta do it.
  3. Man that's an amzing looking car. What part of Christchurch do you live in/is it on the road so I'll have a chance of seeing it about?
  4. So short answer...go to tyre shop and see what'll fit?
  5. So I need to replace two tyres for wof. Currently have full set of Toyo proxes but dont have the cash to buy them at 240 each. So now I'm wondering, what tyre sizes would fit/ be suitable for 13"x7 hotwires. ATM they're 215/50/13. Is it ok to run different sized tyres on front and rear and what are pros/cons in doing so? kumho do ectsa in 215/50 for almost half the price so may go with them but just want others opinions before doing so. Another thing I've been wondering is what effect the width of the tyre has on handling and if a narrower tyre on front would save my arms from getting so ripped from turning the wheel.
  6. Need to shift a car in the next few days but don't want to pay ridiculous hire fees. Only for a mini so size not an issue. Thanks in advance
  7. Shit yeah, love the whole thing. My brother scored a choice as Rockford Fosgate sub with a slim wedge box from a parts car that fits perfect behind the seats in his L200.

  9. Second the round headlights idea. Courier or B1600 may fit? Prob smaller but worth a look.
  10. If you're not gonna use the fender mirrors would you be keen to sell them? The truck mirrors look well choice on it.
  11. I've just replaced my stolen car with a KE70 so was keen to see all the cars but couldn't bike fast enough to see any up close.
  12. broken link, gutting as. If you can get a pic up it would help?
  13. Was biking up Rapaki track on Sat and noticed about 10 or so Corollas heading along the port hills road. Some pretty nice specimens involved and wondering if any were OS members.
  14. Thanks heaps. I'll pm you my numbe in case you spot it.
  15. Just heard my car drive off about two hours ago in Opawa/Woolston. Registration is YA2383, Blue '90 Legacy Wagon. Has a bumper sticker on rear window for Rotten Apple backpackers. Mostly pissed over the baby seat and pram and my sons toys and clothes that were in it. If you see it please PM me and call the police/smash their face in. Thanks
  16. What's the best way to stiffen up the suspension on these? The back scrapes when I have passengers and go up a kerb.
  17. The new love interest. Not planning much for it at this stage. Just new carpets, fit the louver, better air intake and exhaust. Got some oil leaks need fixing too. First mod was fitting a baby seat. Next is to replace the two 30yr old speakers and radio. Sounds like a gramophone at the moment.
  18. So jealous. Now mine is gone I just want another. Guy that bought it doing hella as mods and getting it mint though. Keeps me up to date via email which is choice. Feel a bit stink 'cos he's finding heaps wrong with it but said he has 2gs to get it road legal anyways.
  19. I think I would rather use the real things but will have to wait a week or two.
  20. Ripco is charging $40!!!! Anyone know where it's cheaper? $40 seems a lot for a dozen plastic clips. I guess I ama tight arse too...
  21. I bought a Mk5 Cortina and was given a mint louvre with it so want to put it on for super filth. Anyone know how to/where to get the necessary bits and pieces to do this?
  22. Unfortunately my escort is long deceased. Thought about getting in under but would need to get it pretty damn hi as it sits about 120mm off ground.
  23. Need to swap engine out of my van. Could hire but if I can save a few bucks then would gladly do so. Plus, being my first time doing anything like this I don't want a 4 hr time limit freaking me out. Yeah Will reimburse for generosity.
  24. It used to be my brothers and he got his builder friend to make a sweet bed base. Has minimal cross beams etc so you can fit plenty under. It doesn't have back seats but I am trying to get some 'cos I can't take any passengers except my girlfriend and son which is kind of annoying. Steering wheel is a pain in the ass with no power steering but gives my shoulders a good work out. The rivet looking things are clip buttons for one of them lush vinyl covers for the front. Design is pretty minimal and it's well low. I personally haven't done anything to it except replace the heater hose. Has rotten floor but rubber mats hide all that.
