  1. its a gen 2 motor, but i have a custom sump for it and have done a few secert oil drains mods, aiming for 250kws at rear treads, should be achiveable

  7. yeah mate mate uses one in his classs c off roader as its the easist way to mount a 4age into a offrader is to use the vbox style gearbox
  8. not to sure i have nevr really been intrested in mr2 but im gunna presume they work on linkages much like a van
  9. easly the engine bay is the same as a fxgt jsut in the back not in the front, some of the ealry 80tys sereis 2 corrolas use a vbox thou but these are pretty ahrd to find as most off road buiulders snap them up

Alrighty thought its about time i tella few people what im up to Got a ae85 notch back levin replacing the bluetop 4age and k50 with 3sgte and w55 going to run a ems computer, large t3/t4, big front mount and 13b turbo injectors goin to get dna marsh to build me a inlet plenium and exhasut manifold hope to have it all completed and back on rd before xmas, gettin painted and caged in the next 3 week will post up som pictures after painting
  12. behind any form of forced induction 4age you would really need to use a nite parts bell housing and w sereis box, t50s jsut dont have the strengh to handle the tourque or power produced by a 4agte or 4agze
  13. for the ffort involved in building an adaptor plate to sort the sr20 bell housing to the t40 would be easier to jsut use the sr20 box they are plenty strong enuff as they are
  14. that would be a t40 any of the w series boxs are tough as guts, was out driftn with my mate on saturday and he jsut bashes the crap outta his w55 and it loves it
  15. if you like the t50 ull love the w sereis just the same as the t50 but alot more bash able nothing beats flat shifting the w55
  16. um i used both t50 and w55 and to me they feel pretty similar i jsut like the fact that ik can bash the w55 and know its not not gunna break
  17. 1jz and 2jz both fit into ke70, ae70, ae86-85 engine bays with no need to cut the firewall theres a ae86 getting around auckland with a 2jz and its fuckign insane 1jz imo is best value japanese perfromance motor easly achive 300kw on stock internals pretty tight fit thou, t50s are over priced and waste of time and oney better off to buy a nite parts bell housing and w 55,56,57 or if you got the coin 58 gearbox then you can use a ze flywheel and bigger clutch set up on the 4age,
  18. yeah, persoanlly i feel that if you can pick up a ze bottom end cheap enuff the 4agte are a wicked motor, im not goin to use one anymore thou and am fitting a 3sgte as end of the day there no subsitute for displacement and i could fit a sr as thats would be sacriglous in a ae85 but persoanlly if you not looking for huge power jsut turbo a blue should get 150 kw pretty easy using a t25 small intercooler and mega squirt even stock ze injectors will suuport this level of power but end of the day if you gunna go and ge all power hungry ditch the 4age and go for a bigger motor as a starting place, 3sgte or 1jz
  19. ^^^ plus all the rest like injectors, fuel pump, boost controller, turbo timer, tuning plus the comman filter, exhaust BOV and maybe wastgate. dont need a waste gate the internal ones will do, injectors gt4 or sereis 4 or 5 or even evo ones, as for blow off valve a factory one will do for another car, intercooler vr4 or simlar again will do the job, it not about spending big money its all about spending your money smartly, again i urge you to check ut the tech section the garage dori site, these guys haave done more 4age conversions than rotors that blow up at summer drags
  20. yes when i stock internal i mean stock untouched blue tops you say expensive, i say not really most of the parts can be purchased second hand the pistons are like 400 from toyota how much is a sereis 4 turbo 400 bucks at the most a mega squirt ecu is like 600 bit of hard work and your away and laughing
  21. easy way to turbo power 20 valve bottom end with ze pistons large turbo sereis 4 rx7 with rb 20 exhasut housing works well after market ecu with 14 psi should be looking at around 180kw more power can esily be achived with more boost ad tuning ive been there done this now converting my ae85 to 3sgte need more tourque at low rev 4agtes are fucking insane thou if you want good info check out http://www.garagedori.com both Matt Gill and Karl have achived impressive power from stock blues think Matt got around 170kw from a stock blue top
  22. this thing is insanely bad ass i love it, matts 86 is mega cool as well had a look at it one nite when i went and got a rim off him, very cool provided me with alot of motorovation for mine
