Heres my temporary doorcards with sounds etc in them, have got some sheet mdf stuff to make better ones, use lots of fibreglass etc later.

As far as i know i have all the parts in, lean happens over time in cortina's but werent like that when they were produced, my brothers ghia had no lean whatsoever and the ones i have seen have certainly not had this amount. Also it concerned the wof guys and they had a look but didint know, bah. As a side note anyone know if i can get a bigger anti roll bar from another car or something, just looking to improve handling, want it to be better than a 2006 crummydore wagon v6 is this gonna happen?

will check the rear arms, in my previous quick check i noticed the arms bushes are fuked all cracked and shit aswell. lol at oink, have tested the shocks but they are fine.

Anyways i have a reasonable list of things to fix in this car oil and coolant leak no rocker gasket whirring ticking engine noise when floored left hand lean rusted hole approx 30x15 at rear guard due to having no rubber grommets at cars back end. timing mark broken off a drivers side leak but i think its caused by, surprise having no grommet. rear passenger windscreen rust boot water channel holes etc etc lucky i have plenty of time and patience.

Just wondering if anyone had encountred this i cant find whats wrong, when i go over a relatively steep bump like a kerb, the back *paddoings* (<-- sweet noise description). It sounds like springs seating themselves or something but from what i can tell my standard height kings look like their in properly. Sometimes when chronic jumping on the car etc i can make it replicate the noise but im unsure what it is, plus i still havent found out why my cars leans 2 inches down on the left, and some of you reckon its happens to them all but i ahve seen several with no lean at all.

been awhile since last update, have been sound deadning inside with the liquid crap, makes the floor look alot better too cos all the rubber grommets on the car appear to have gone walkabouts and it was leaking chronic, this meant teh whole floor was surface rust and a few holes etc, watch the road go by from passenger seat chur. Also adjusted tappets were noisy as fuck, much better now, also got some orange as fuck new extractors 4-1 hopefully get a 2.25 inch full system made up once i get some money again. Bought another compressor so i can link my two together for bigger spray jobs. heres the extractors also i had 3lt of black lacquer left over from another job and my bonnet was munted so i sprayed it black, not because i like it but because its practice and i will be re-respraying the whole car, door jambs engine bay and boot aswll this time in solid lime green at xmas. heres some bonnet pics obviously they look a bit better here than real life but meh

buy a decent 3m or norton style one from the place you buy your paint. The problem with isocyantes is the charcoal or carbon absorbs them but you dont know when the charcoal is full and the iso's are coming through so change your cartridges often. Reckon bout $60 for one i think.

tint the primer so it doesnt take as much colour coats to hide it. Useful because colour coats generally arent sanded so you dont wanna make a mistake, more coats of colour=more chance of mistake.

using masking paper to remove a run is more common that you would expect. It means that you can feather it out if you are only a few coats in without having to wait for it to dry or without ever touching the car with sandpaper, usefull technique in high volume shops.

i assume that you have all round adjustable koni's maybe, kingsprings or the like and full polyurethane bushes?
