    ca18det?

mmmm so the alt brackets are in diff places as well not to worried about the head now (just found a det rwd one ) its more the block/crank/rods/pistons im concerned about as the engine that we have has got a stuffed head, and damaged rings, so do you know of the ff block will bolt up to the rwd engine mounts? and i am also asuming you have to change over water pump assemblys

    ca18det?

yea they do have a different head/port set up and the dissy is at the back of the engine so i have been told sweet i answered my own question.............

    ca18det?

does anyone know if the front wheel drive ca18det's are the same as the rear wheel drive ones? ( bar the obvious ) i got told that the heads are different?
  5. do you just mean automotive? cause i can show you some ag stuff that works on some wicked angles that are running gearbox's and some transmissons but there are ways around things like these comes down to uj size and yoke/fork size
  6. burn cunt no your not i am it only has one plug so i think im sweet also yea sorry i suck at explaning things when it comes to car shit............tractors no worrys after looking at the epc a few times then at my car............scratching my head i dont even have the wiring loom for the resistor anyhow so its really not an issue all i really wanted to know was would it be safe/ok/work if i just put it it, as everything between the tourer s and v fuel system ( bar injectors and pump and resistor ) are the same yes the answer is so its sweet if this pump does shit it self its no bigy as they are cheap anyway, or i will go get a higher lpm bosch unit for not much more than what i paid for this pump
  7. so i should be able to just plug it in and away i go?
  8. This may be long winded so bear with me where to begin i am in the process of changing over fuel pumps from the 1jzge one to the 1jzgte fuel pump my question is the fuel computers the tourer V ( 1jzgte ) verson of my car has what the call a fuel pump resistor of sorts but the tourer s ( 1jzge and my chassis ) does not have this i know there is some form of mod you do to the pumps to make them run at a higher voltage ( think i got that right ) has this fuel pump resistor have something to do with this? will it effect me/stop me from changing over pumps and driving the car?
  9. nah b & m http://www.bmracing.com/bmracing/default.html
  10. i peaced mine up with alot of parts, but the one i used on my 4agze ( then sold it ) was b and m from memory oil thermostat is a good idea, so if you can get one bulit into your sandwhich plate get it
  11. nah ikea formula is millons better, with cusco its just a price thing really still a good product but like i say its alot cheaper to buy ikea is rather dare when you way it up the only thing i can remember " price wise " would be the castor arms i think cusco was around the 450nzd mark and ikea was 650ish camber arms are around the same price as the cusco units too i may add.........or at least they where when i last looked thats the real only reason why i stated cusco over ikea, i would have ikea hands down but they are pricey for my liking oh big massive tip here which i just learnt jzx110 caster arms have a bigger bend in them, which alowes a better and bigger stearing angle
  12. yea sorry man, should have clicked and read what state is your water pump in?
  13. suspension parts man there such a prick to get here in NZ, the cheap china shit doesnt seam to be up to the task and they are the same money and the JDM stuff i think i know what you have in mind, going by your mark II, so this is what i would be looking for front and rear camber arms ( cusco seam to be the best but ikea-formula (sp?) also seam to be up there ) castor arms..........you will thank me if you get some of these in, as the x90/100 ones wear out something wicked roll center adjustors if it has TOM'S on it and they just happen to be chassis braces............GET THEM, x100's chassis is prone to flex real bad under heavy cornering/drifting, and the TOM'S and or TRD OR Cusco chassis braces and just the bizo..........more so the tom's and cusco boot brace's so yea any sort of strut/under car/boot/diff brace get them, they make the world of difference trust me on that one if you want i can send/sell you a hyper rev book, as i use that as my jzx100 bible ( i have three of them ) and they are gold now for my shopping list i would like................... jokes
  14. have you done a rb25 conversion? edit i need to learn how to read if so i would imagine that the radiator you have in there now, be it a n/a rb20/25de is not up to the task of transfering the heat so i would happily say you would need a det radiator or a nice big 4 core to help you out fmic tend to slow the airflow down around and to the radiator that would be my picking
  15. http://www.jzx100.com/forum/index.php?act=idx chur
  16. amen brother! yea i meant plastic, i shouldnt be aloud near a computer when im sick. everyone list's them as carmys or calls them camrys rather funny but at the same time rather stupid i think theres a trick with the face lift tail lights, something to do with a little resistor box that is different betwwen early and late models to allow them to work properly, have to double check on the jzx90/100 forums yea trent is a good bastard, and if you ring him every so often he has good go fast bits for cheap, i scored alot of TOM'S chassis braces for my beast along with some other good stuff and hes good for a yarn to yea mines coming along good busting a nut to put this new turbo on, just waiting on gaskets to arrive since toyota nz doesnt carry anything on the shelf for the jzx100
  17. carefull man pple around here will normaly bag you for slapping pastic on cars shame i dont have any 100 parts to give you, binned all the uless crap and used all the good stuff but if you need anything related to the jzx100 chassis ring trent @ totally toyota in the naki, he imports damaged chasers/mark IIs and as alot floating around, i just scored alot of parts a few months back of a trd chaser http://www.totallytoyotas.co.nz/ as for kits i find teh WALD series of bolt ons rather appealing but each to there own oh p.s nice camry you will get that alot along with bmw and my favourite Diamante
  18. sweet will do first thing
  19. can do cheap markku-san will sort it out on tuesday for you as i get a massive 70% off everything at my bearing supplier email me the dimensions so i dont forget
  20. man after lots of e-net pic's i am sooo keen to do a mx5-13b conversion
  21. move some stuff around mabe? ditch the oem set up and move the rad over-flow bottle and make up a cold air intake/box on the right hand side, im sure that would be abit better, who knows tho, talk to pple who have done this heaps before, like on the maita/mx5 forums maybe? or honda-tech wonder how hard it would be to move that afm and its wires????
  22. some 4age 20v quads would go down a treat on one of those surely? shame i just let mine go for a stupid $75
