I doubt they could add that much drag. I have heard a bit of a squeel (which wasn't that loud) but turned up the radio. Its a brand new vehicle so shouldnt have any issues lol
The car is FWD and its the rear wheel bearings that have failed. Regardless, they shouldn't experience any torque load- If it does its already fucked.
I was annoyed that I had to change both rear hubs on my Toyota Ist when I got it at about 100k km.

what's the best way of getting a 14v battery for cheap? I need 14v able to provide at least 40 amps for a minute or two. Basically I need a regular battery with an extra cell? We've just jumped off a running engine in the past but it's a bit of a pain in the ass
Easiest way is probably what you do, maybe rig an alternator to be driven by an AC motor to give you the 14v, instead of needed a running car?

18psi is a lot for a vintage radiator.

Would slide throttles be a better DIY build?
I think moving to a diesel where no throttles are necessary would solve the issue.

I've always been impressed by Top Gear mileage challenge with the Jag Diesel. Maybe in a couple of years.

I think it's the curse of buying a modified car. Even if it all appears ridgy didgy there will be some shit wrong.
I didn't have so many issues, but fan wired backwards and headlights wired wrongly (no proper working high beams) on a legal car.

I have an auto darkening helmet but it has a battery, what is the battery for? It must be long dead.
It makes the dark work - usually recharged via a solar panel.
I've had to hack in a couple of C-cells on an old helmet.

That thing is ISF money.... lots of Lexus private sellers think their shit is worth heaps. Search those that have been listed for 6+ months and just go in with a lowball. People need cash these days.
He still had the dealer paperwork in the glovebox showing a the dealer asking price of 33k . Pretty cheeky to be asking over what he paid for it.
Have a things on for the next few weeks but will go GS hunting after that.
