not a leak somewhere, bad seals or badly adjusted is it? i had the same problem on thmini and turned out i'd been a newb when i bled the clutch and the adjustment screw was in too far

nah that shouldnt matter, tank (sump) volume is irrelevant as there shouldnt be pressure in the system until after the pump perhaps having changed the pump to a higher volume one, you've made the ooil lines too small to suit it, hence the increase in pressure, or, as someone said there may just be a blockage in one of the lines or galleries

sweet, i think i noticed the lift pump's mounted on the back side of the tank aye? also, whats that boot floor made of? im not certain, but i get the feeling they cert guy will want the tank to be mounted driectly to the body via certain means.

alot of sheet metal places could make you a new tank, with holes etc to allow you to use the origional level sender etc. same sorta thing as boe-rads one, place thats making your other thing might even be able to do it i'll talk to my works sheetmetal guy tommorow out of interest what else did it fail on boe?
