  1. Charcoal more instead of gun metal would look mean.
  2. Yer they got a smaller spline shaft on X-Flow tinas. I wanna jus get a larger spline and chuck it on dunno if itll work. Should be able to get one for free so wanted to know if it'd work.
  3. Oh yip cool, yer i was going on what i was told so i'll jus keep my scort box. Can you jus change the spline that goes into the back of the box to a sierra 5spd one so i can use a 5 spd and keep the same driveshaft, or are the UJ's different sizes?
  4. So its for more fuel mixture or so it fires quicker, kinda understand aye, not that far ito performance shit atm.
  5. Adjusting to suit? So its different timing to adjusting the dizzy, like changes when the valves open and close vs. piston movement?
  6. Oh yer, mine hasnt got a crossover then. I wanted to use the 'tina box cus there supposedly stronger and its a real smooth box, clutch sizes between the 1300 n 1600 are the same aye?
  7. How do they actually work? Change lift? or duration? or something else?
  8. Yer its a X-Flow, not too gutless we got it doing O's with a full load on tarseal, and they aint the lightest of cars but yer the crossover? is it like unbolt exhaust and bolt onto other side? I'll probably put the 1600 4spd in the scort for now, even though the new box is longer would the scort driveshaft be all good?
  9. Nar mines an early one and shes got a 1600 4spd in it.
  10. Yer im gonna measure my mates parts car one and see if its the same as my 'tina cus his is a 2L standard.
  11. Oh yip cus im gonna be dropping a 2L 5spd into my mk3 so wanted to see if there were any probs with exhaust but nar sweet as.
  12. Oh yup. This in the tech section already? If not do it quick! When you dropped the 2L in yours did you keep the original exhaust and just join up to the new headers by running the pipe across the car behind the gearbox?
  13. I read it as just the cams not being made right to suit the pinto properly, as in not enough lift to much duration like he said, or did i miss something? That guy from NZ?
  14. Mad read. Spesh about the valve train issues. Tech section shall be mean.
  15. Really, I envy you. I hail from the wonderful city of whangarei - drift capital. Its discusting.. if its nissan its there on cheesy 'drift' wheels. Just makes you hate all that kinda stuff.. You from whangas? Your not in RnR performance are you? Gonna be heading down that way soon....
  16. With van spring it'll sit higher. Should be all good though if you're using blocks.
  17. True, forgot about the column shift.....
  18. If TT says it, it must be true........
  19. Cable clutch, its a 'tina.
  20. That happened on my Mk2 theres a little shitty circlip that clips into a grove but always falls out, i managed to grab it just b4 it dropped and pull it back with pliers. Have to hold it up with something when your trying to put the wiper back on otherwise it'll fall through again, tis such a cunt of a thing.
