  1. I heard that the 1600 was called the 'Kent' If so then why is the 2000 called the 'Pinto'?

    Fitting Buckies

If you get those brackets that they come with they could well bolt straight in.
  3. You're only alowd 2" ones 4" would probably actually be quite dangerous

    2l and box

I always bench press my gearbox into position on my RWD, can't do it on the gay FWD cordia though, it's really awkward in there.
  5. My mate is making up some mounts, all lazer cut and tig welded with nonathane bushes insted of crappy rubber
  6. Yeah the one from the VR-4's are sweet as, these have the 6 bolt crank etc, but the 7 bolt crank ones from the evo's are no good. No mounts on the block!
  7. If you want some mounts my mate is making some up for his KE30, so he can sell you a set.
  8. Just crash start the bitch

    Avgas

You'll also want to fit twin sidedraughts or you will just be wasting your time, the only way to get any real power out of these engines is with twin sidedraughts
  10. An E series rear end out of a townace might go in. It's got drums, but they're bigger! also you get a strong as 7.1" diff
  11. Nah even the 1600 GSL with 5 SPEED! Had all those guages.
  12. Belemy and east is the best place
  13. My friend had a 3T-GTEU in his celica, it was bloody quick, even on only 9 psi!
  14. Put the piston at BDC, feed some rope into the cylinder through the sparkplug hole, bing the piston back up towards TDC, put a rag over the hole to stop any shit falling in it (a valve collet once fell in there for me). I lockwired the springs closed when in a vice myself, then put them back into place then cut the lockwire. You can buy a special tool to do it which I brought, but it didn't work.

    SU carbs?

You can easily get sideraught manifolds to suit 4G32 chain drive, maybe this might be an option to look into.
  16. Just bung it in when the timing mark on the crank pulley is set to TDC and have the rotor pointing to cylinder one on the dizzy cap, well I think thats what you're asking.
  17. I dont think so. Maybe anti stretch... a 7.5 inch rim is 190.5mm. So u have wider tyres than rim with 215's. Most of these pictures with stretched tyres so far all have the wrong offset wheel so it looks real stupid. Even with the right wheel i still think it looks a bit gay. (personal opinion tho) Surely it also does something to the handling. worse or better? Even so I just took a picture, and it appears to have a little stretch It only happens with a 40 profile however, I also have some other 17x7.5" rims with a 45 profile, and there is no stretch.

    honda seats

I just got the factory rails, and bolted them to the bottom of the seat I was putting in. Was pretty easy.

    stud pattern

Those guys are on drugs, it's 4x110 for a KE25
  20. Overdrive essentially means you have an extra gear, an overdrive gear, making the engine turn less times than the driveshaft.
  21. Oh don't cut the exhaust manifold, but you shouldn't have any problem with the exhaust manifold anyway.
  22. It's not too hard to change it if you talk nicely to the LTSA, well they didn't mind doing it for me. I just put the seats back in after, haha dodgy though. I usually don't have back seats in though to save weight.
