Decided to get a copper head gasket, so got that on now. along with new thermostat. race head was all sweet and dandy. Learnt something is screwy with my temp gauge. Its reading 3/4 hot when the engine is still cold! :S i hate setting tappet clearances.

Yea pretty much thats what i thought. Iv got the custom mani for the sus, but the webers come with a 1725 mani as well.

I have just spotted some 32/36 webers on tardme. I know everyones all like yeah webers bra. but seriously what would be the better bet in terms of tune-ability / performance / economy The SU's are off a triumph originally. I googled, and found a site that rated the webers as less performance more economical than correctly tuned SUs. but the site was way biased to SUs. Any info greatly appreciated.

Race Head is on. Old gasket blown between 2 cylinders and between water gallery tried to get carbs on, but manifold was fricken stiff. Next weekends mission.
