Got it cleaned up a bit, so its labelled Q1 on the board but the part marking on the component is melted off. However Q2 below that is the same size im guessing is probably the same component - it has printed on it 2306A. Could be one of these? which according to that website is this from element14 - datasheet

Thanks man, I will clean and report back. I dont have any data on it but will have a hunt on the net and maybe try the manufacturer on the off chance. If I put a pic of a fried board on their facebook page it might elicit a helpful response!

Below is the circuit board from my Podi oil pressure gauge. I managed to fry it as you can see and the manufacturer wont reply to my many requests for quote on a new board. I assume its a goner but not knowing anything about tiny black rectangles that somehow know things thought I would check if anyone can enlighten me? I think it was my fault trying to run it off a double relay that feeds the fuel pump also, too many on/off cycles in quick succession when i was trying to fill float bowl and turn off before it overfilled (too much fuel pump).

Found some atf and o rings were a size in my kit so it lives again

Just replaced some seals in my floor jack need to re-fill with hyd oil, I get the feeling the 'jack oil' you can get from s.cheap etc for like $18/l is probably re-labelled something. Is there a cheap alternative?

Where to buy ball joint boot retainer things? Got a new pitman boot (Mazda still supply!) Didnt come with the retainer things that hold it into its groove, can you buy these seperately? I did google but may not have the right term

Yeah i gotcha thanks man, I will front mount it with rx3 X member i think this is going to be the easiest way. There is a kinda bulge in the casting where the twin dizzy stud would have prev been but means engine out to drill/tap and still probably inferior to front mount.

Plan B is a custom eng mount and front mount it, kinda like this or RX3 type that also bolts under sway bar but uses breast plate, below may be too rigid;

Will an eng mount to just one M12 stud pass cert? As per the drivers side on below pic, i will remake the bracket from some folded 10mm plate or some such as existing one is a welded POS, but will still rely on one stud.

Ok stupid question time, can I paint my radiator or get it done nice somewhere? Been looking at the below build thread and thinking how much nicer the black rad looks in an OS bay.
