  10. fibre glassing isnt hard, well, its do-able. you could give it a go yourself? the fibre glassing that is. just make a nice mould out of foam or something and make 4 flares that are identical. or make 2 moulds, back and front... dont know about the cutting etc.. but about the cert, not 100% but there is a site, ask WDE BDY , but my front guards aren't considdered structural and can do anythingt i like with them (including giant rust holes) ring around.

    that depends on if it is the guage, wires or sensor... sensor or guage should be as simple as ringing a wrecker, getting a "new" one and screwing it in. Wire would be a pain, but it seldom is the wire
  12. 2 best simplest things are letting everything flow better, eg exhaust (NOT TOO BIG OR LOUD!) carb and filter of some sort... i'm not into eskies but thats the general thing for all cars my 2c

  16. shouldnt do. FWD and RWD face different ways dont they, rwd engine = lying front to back, FWD left to right... you could get a different manifold made. or maybe mess around and weld halve of the fwd and halve the rwd together?
  17. the rear bumper used to be de-bumpered and i'll do it again, just properly. sand blasting cost me $800 now just need to bring it to the panel beater and get the rust fixed and then i'll start the rest

  19. but just getting back to my point. say you have a normal auto box and a over drive capable box. same box. one just has over drive right. does that mean that the box with over drive has 1 more gear then the normal box? so say 4 for normal and 5 for over drive? or does the normal box ride out the gears and the over drive shift earlier to not go up in revs too much. also, that 50k an hour thing, bull shit (sorry). my parents have their car on over drive 24/7 (and no i'm not mistaking it for power and economic because thats a diferent button, always on eco 2)
  20. then why would they have an extra gear caller over drive and not just have a 5 spd box? why would you want to have a button that lets you have an extra gear? why not have all the gears within reach right away?
  21. hey guys. i'm probably wrong as always but if your stupid auto has "over drive" then all it does is change at what rpm it changes gear right? so say, normally it would change at 4 thou but with over drive off (or on, not sure which is which) it will change at 2.5 thou... am i right or are the people that say "WOW!!! Over Drive!!! that means it has an extra gear!!!" right? please tell me they are wrong...!
