  1. Why didn't ya come over and say Hi ya prick Fully.........NOT! This one was bought as a Memorial for my Mum who passed away Sunday morning. So It will remain as is with period improvements. Theres one TM at the moment on Cragar Smoothies and with some work done that looks good. All kept period though. Thats what I'll work toward with this. But won't be nothing I can't change back to original. GF decided she likes it so much that I've been ordered to get a second one at some point and do that up, including two tone and a big motor etc etc.
  2. Yes, but the 70's bought us 240z's... and lets face it, there is no sexier car on the face of the planet . The 60s bought us the Mk2 Zephyr.......
  3. Where were you?? Didnt see the Corty anywheres...... Sounds good for a sixer don't it. Everyone mistakes it for an 8.
  4. Sweet well ill try fit my 18s on it see if they fit to confirm the stud pattern. If thats right then I'll be on the lookout for some 15inch steelies to widen. Get some whitewalls and we'll be all good.
  5. Anybody know what the PCD of a Zephyr is?
  6. That was pretty much the suggestion I was after - but i wanted to see if anyone else had same ideas and thought it ould suit the car Where does one get wheels widened?
  7. Yeah I was thinking some subtle mags and whitewalls. Not sure what though. Air suspension could be a long term idea.
  8. Discussion //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/20603-muzzies-1961-mk2-ford-zephyr/?hl=zephyr I think I might be bordering on obsession here now lol. Yet another car joins the stables. Named Maxine after my mother who sadly passed away Dec 10. Runs a 3 on the tree box with no synchro on first or reverse, hydraulic clutch thats fucking heavy connected to a meaty Straight 6 with a reasonably straight through exhaust. Sounds grunty. Even if it aint lol. Has millions of receipts for vast amounts of mechanical work done to it over the past decades. And it even has the original dealer warranty papers. Apparently, some guy in Papatoetoe bought it new. 4 wheel drums. Its the flash version with the heater and fan and variable wipers lol. Done a genuine 43,000miles. Picked it up today with a brand new WOF & 12 months reg courtesy of old owner. Just some pics of how it was when I bought it. Suggestions? It's 100% original currently so would like to keep it looking that sorta way.
  9. Well since it's been sitting for a while under cover through winter and rain I whipped the cover off and decided to give her a run. Long story short, the fuel systems gone to hell over the last couple of months, and the fuel pump won't prime so it'll probably sit for a couple more months til next year while the prefect gets worked on and made road legal.
  10. Hahahaha, finally got to see the old beast. Amazing to see you posting on here lol What future plans you got for it?

  12. My left guard has this huge fucking crack through it - easier to find a new one than weld up the current one.

  16. Oh yeah, gimme gimme! Sorry but I aint got no Vauxhall or Chevette books though bro Stock engine yes, cause it retains it's originality and the things runs mint at the moment now anyways. Yep, they're known for it because they have 2 springs. They're sprung with leafs across the car. As in one set for the front, one set for the back. Notoriously unstable. Fully dig that VW! I'll see what I can do, probably get some on Thursday for ya man. Any particular angle?
  17. I might come, will be in daily or Uno though. Simcas no where near legal.
