  1. I only happened across your thread this morning. I must say that despite the fact I'd rather have a bad case of herpes than an English car, theres something strangely satisfying about reading your progress to date. Jolly good show chap, keep up the good work. Also, this is screaming out for a repower with something that will make it shred tyres. Monster Bridgeport would be appropriately rowdy I think.
  2. Kephos253. It will buy you twelve months before bare steel will rust. You absolutely must wear a respirator when applying it. (Can be brushed or sprayed) or it will blow your head off. (I've been high as fuck brushing it outside with a breeze blowing)
  3. WooĆ²oo Tempting. But I'm over sleeping in tents. (Even though there probably wouldnt be much sleeping
  4. Oh well, anyone booking rooms with a spare cot, holla at me.
  5. Who wants to book a cabin /motel and offer me a bed this year? @datlow?
  6. @KKtrips As discussed at quaranationals, you 100% need to come along on this run too. It's literally the final frontier of proper good old fashioned adventure. (Without the need to be some kind of finely tuned athlete, which I'll never be)
  7. Nah. Probs not. Under seat storage on a twist n go is handy for gear nor thrown into a support trailer.
  8. If it does 60, you'll be fine. It's just slow on the gravel. 8 hours is a bit of an exaggeration. Plus we stop for fish and chips/burgers/PG's/GCSBeaver's power tour tutorials.
  9. What style of 50cc? It's well do-able on a twist and go. But on a nifty50, or a stock fa50 it would be pretty punishing. As said, small wheels are death on the more gnarly gravel stages. A bigger wheeled fiddy could likely carry a higher average speed on the rough stuff. I wouldnt dream of doing it on a machine that couldn't do an honest 61-63. And do it all day long. (Reliably)
  10. Nah I think it tucks into a rolled edge?
  11. Awesome work guys. I can watch stuff like that all day.
  12. It never leaked when I owned it. (It was just permanently permeated with the foul stench of blowby and terror sweat.) Looking amazing Josh. Warms the cockles of my heart to see her looking so good.
  13. Can you slot the holes where the engine mount brackets affix to the block to sling the engine a bit lower in the hole? Alternatively, I think the 2ltr engines have a taller deck height. So with the z18 motor you gain a bit of clearance.
  14. Its insanity to be fizzing this far out. But I'm gushing like a broken water main already! Driving along today thinking about its awesomeness, I completely zoned put and forgot where I was even going.
  15. "That bit there, that's the bit that spins round and round"
  16. I hope we manage to dodge the rain like last year. Holy fucking shitballs it rained hard.
