  13. It has a lightly modded 2L Pinto.. cam, raised compression, extractors, port n polish.. thats about it Oh and a lightened flywheel (or so I was told)
  14. The other night in the esky I raced my mates GTS-T skyline on the motorway.. and it was dead even, I couldnt pull away and neither could he.. Everyone in the skyline was looking like WTF! haha
  15. Yea man get a haynes manual, they go into lots of detail and have good pics. You can pick up secondhand ones cheap as.
  16. Yea man, got a coil for it as well. Hmm I think I know what u mean by the middle.. but Sierras dont have that little slot with the bolt going through it on the head where you can centre it and twist either way like most newer cars. Its just bolted to the block with a little clamp thing, sorta hard to explain, but yea
  17. Im getting the electronic ignition setup off a sierra.. when fitting the dizzy how can I get a static ignition timing setting to at least start and drive the car where I can get the timing set properly with a timing light?? Like with points you can just use the old lightbulb trick.. is there anything like this you can do to set up the electronic dizzy or is it just a matter of guessing?
  18. Haha yep thatd be him.. green escort with lotsa primer
  19. Yea use a grinder with one of those cutting discs on it, like 3 bucks from repco (or wherever) to tidy up the hole. Then you could probably use that on the surface shit aswell, Id prefer to use a wire brush and drill for that though, but up to you..
  20. Nah, can't feel it or even see it really aye, the bit that needs beating out is pretty much concealed by the gearbox. Doesnt need a whole heap of bashing either...
  21. Yea looks structural where its gone through.. should cost about $100 for a panelbeater to weld it up. Thats what it cost me to get some done in just as much of a cunty place (under the radiator, just above the swaybar) Could save $ by getting the metal all clean and ready to weld, and tell him that you'll paint it etc..
  22. I reckon the hotties look heaps better.. dunno about the rally stz tyres tho
