hey i bought a 1600 engine and i was told it was off a mk2 sport but i was just wondering what carbs came standard on them, mine came with a 32/36 dgav 4D3 but i didnt think they came like that, i looked in the haynes book but its from britain so it might be different

i rung up a tyre guy and he said that only some rims can come blank and adapter plates and spacers are semi illegal and he wouldnt do them

i dont know anything about tightening head gaskets but if you tightened it with a torque wrench before try doing again at the same pressure, there would be no harm in that or just see if theres any play in it and tighten if need be

maybe its a silly question but how hard is it to change a 4 stud car to a 5 stud, i assume that somewhere along the line you would just have to have something custom made

u want to know how to move the tie rods or tie rod ends?? probably the best way is just to get ur car realigned or maybe u just need to tighten the bolts, i dont even know if u can adjust tie rods

u might need to get your gaurds rolled if they rub, thats what happened to me with my 205's before i had it rolled

i went to davies and naylor in church street, auckland, they rolled my front gaurds and trimmed the back gaurds to stop it rubbing on my wheels but i didnt work the 1st time so now both my lovely eagers on the left side of the car have had rubber ripped off them and the white writing scraped off a lil bit but its ok now i hope
