yep im a strong believer in that theory its always worked out like that 4 me

my mate shane from m&t in hastings gets blanks in quite regularly for non standard fitments its just finding the correct offset thats the prob. anything thats over 7in wide [which is most rims bigger than 15in dia] will b difficult to fit to a esky normally requiring flares to keep them legal. not that it cant b dont theres plenty of cars out there with them just ya choice is pretty narrow. most cragars are deep dish so prob wouldnt suit an esky. put a falcon diff in it and mini tub it then fit some 15 x 10s that would look sik in a van

u can respray the hood lining in any colour u like using vinyl spray from supacheap. a new hood lining for my corty cost $275 from local auto upholsterer made from scratch as the original was missing in action

get the kit from http://www.rodshop.com.au/mounts.htm the kit is EM17 just check it will fit nz cortys as they are different to aussy ones. this will give u every thing ya need

why do ya want 5studs should b able to get the mags ya want in blank form and drill em to the esky pattern. falcon struts are totally different so they wont fit. u could put a falcon diff it . the diffs are cheap look 4 a ute one they are 3.5 ratio or wagons are 3.25 . 3.25 might b a bit tall 4 a 1600. will have to get it shortened approx $600 plus driveshaft mods. u could do a falcon disc conversion . i think the kits are about a $1000. i have falcon stud pattern on the corty but im using mk3 zephyr hubs which bolt to mk2 corty stubs dont think they fit esky if ya can find em

count the journals on a v8 and youll see why but ya dont have to grind the big ends and the mains u can do either or both

do the whole lot its only $20 a journal bearings come in a set and sure a phuck when the other ones shagged out theres metal filings in the oil meaning the other ones will go too be lieve me ive been there

nah ya dont need it cut it off it might weigh 1kg that will give ya a top speed of 61mph ya choices for a aftermarket filter could b a bit slim . but u can easily mod somting to fit

thats a pretty big cam for a road car will make it real doggy down low not making any power to 4000rpm youll get blown off the lights by hyundias for the first 50 meters

ive got 225/60/14 and 185/60/14 nangkangs on the corty their quite meaty should last a while but with a big blocky pattern will b noisy not that ill b able to hear the tyres over the engine anyway

how do ya find em? i never been much of a fan of slapper bars always worried theyd catch on somthing. ive got caltracs on the corty work real well a little too well hard to do skids. make the arse a little stiff but check out my beast post in general theres a pic of them
