  2. Sweet, think I may mount up one then as will be way easier/cheaper.
  3. I have a question. Being lazy etc/whatever. Instead of hooking up speedo cable/getting custom one made etc, have heard can mount up a gps unit and use the speed thing off that? I don't see why not however what is the cert man likey to say?
  4. Keeeen. Someone let me borrow 4x108 wheels!
  5. Damn will be travelling back late friday from work so will miss out. good luck to those entering.

  7. Damn son 200kw atw, nice! Are you f*ckn serious about 230 on 32? haha You must have one bangin strong pinto, love it!
  8. Done. And hopefully that was it. Haven't heard the noise again so fingers crossed that's all it was.
  9. Will look tomorrow after I try find a wheel brace or such. Seriously have no tools whatsoever with me, all still in my van 6 hours away..hoping it's a stone between back plate and rotor, pads don't look overly worn.
  10. Ah sweet cheers boys. On holiday in Nelson with next to no tools on me, hopefully I can get hold of someone to borrow some to change em out. Thanks again!
  11. I have a 2003 Holden crewman ute. Basically since I have had it there is like a metallic screeching sound which sounds like its coming from the front right wheel. I just went out before in it and it was screeching horribly loud constantly for around 5 minutes then went away. It has been on and off for a couple of days, I noticed particularly when turning left the noise seems to increase? I was thinking it may be worn brake pads, but would they still screech even when brakes are not applied? Or perhaps a stone in the brakes somewhere, although the sound is coming and going...Could it be a wheel bearing? Keen to hear your input on what it may be, cheers.
  12. Yea, going to try sort some 15's for back with decent tires and maybe take blocks out of back to raise it and hope for bit more suspension compression? Think my t28 is about at it's limit pushing 20.5psi through it to, but worry about that after its road legal.. Best 60ft time 2.232 from today, no idea how that compares except to who I raced today, what do others get?
  13. Not a bad meet, got a ton of runs in! Caught up with a few of the boys off here. I ran a best of 13.8 again. Still struggling off the line in 1st and into 2nd, however in everyone of my time slips I have a better 60ft time than the others, even the ones that beat me which is interesting. Was switching to 20psi once I got into 3rd gear but boost controller was in a cunt of a place to push the button but seemed to help my trap speed by about 2mph. So had a 13.8 at 99mph last time and 13.8 at 102mph this time. Ahh fine tuning time...
  14. Hmm how late can your register in/what time does it go to? May have to tear a roof off and put new one back on by the weekend so need to work late...Will find out tomorrow morning and will try come out regardless eitherway, why is the 1st Friday of the month always busy Edit; shall be able to make it
  15. 90% sure I'll be there racing even though I can't afford it haha so will make an apperance, sounds like a good plan.
  16. My god this thing is fucking sick! Need vid of boosting asap.
  17. Was gutted about the last one cancelled due to rain, keen as for this one though.
  18. Had to post this. Civic shuttle build...make sure you read the whole way down the article before writing it off, one of the craziest surprises I have read in a long time in this post! http://speedhunters.com/archive/2010/11 ... wagon.aspx
  19. Is there a rain date ie, Sunday, for this? Weather looks bit dodgey tomorrow, hope it's ok though, keen to try run a bit quicker.
  20. That's pretty good but time they got shipped here it would be close to what I already got 3 off Chris.
  21. Ah I see, sweet as I'll have a crack at this tomorrow, cheers
