As the title says, I'm on the lookout for a new exzorst system, I'm getting a cheap coby for my middle muffler along with new piping but havent decided on what I should have hanging out the end, post a pic of your muffler, I need some inspiration. What do you think would look good on a mk2 escort in ford sweet cream? Oh yea, prices too

T50 and 4AGE bellhousing will fit the 4AGZE no problems. I'm not sure about the rest of your questions, but you are right and will most likely need to make new g/box mounts or relocate the original one. Good luck man, keep us posted with your progress

Check where the hinges are bolted to the bonnet, they might have come lose causing it to slip out of place, if thats the case you will more than likely be able to see a change in paint colour or something and line it up to where it used to be? I have no idea otherwise.

Fitting a b16a in there wouldbe a major job. Not something you can do on your own, lots of custom fabrication needed

Rip the instrument cluster apart, get the tacho, and hard wire it in with fresh new wires, see if it works. Going from the original to the stock you have to add in an extra wire, and did you say the guy before you did this? I'd chuck a fresh new wire in there just to be sure its correct.

Yea I'm not too sure aye I switched all my wires to that order and hey worked, I talked Trunk through it and it worked for him too. When in doubt, unplug all the wires and start from scratch Are you sure you have the "left to right" order correct? with the plug orientated as if you are about to plug it in? I've got all the original wire ordering written down if you need them just ask.

You'll be sweet man Dont think the spigot bearing off a 1300 will fit. Yea lock the choke open/take the butterflys out. I run no choke and its sweet, less chance of it running rich and fucking your engine. Just means you have to keep your foot on the gas to idle until it warms up. Do you have a pic of the bolt going into the back of the inlet manifold? I have a few different ones, if yours are the same as mine I can probably find one that comes out at the right angle, either that, or undo your one, put some thread tape on it, and then do it back up and hope it tightens half a turn ealier or something. And not sure bout the fuel return? I dont think my 28/36 has one

I have a 3.89 a stock 1300g/box and a fairly standard 1600 engine. Wheels are same size as stock. I would struggle to do over 145 on a flat road. Downhill could do a bit more.

I dont have these differences and I'm 99% sure it is out of a cortina.

My 1600 is out of a cortina but its not a pinto so I guess it must have been out of an earlier cortina, mk1-2

If its running rough it could just be the carb. Fiddle with the mixture screw on the carb and see if it comes right.

Tell us what you have on it now. Its a 1500 precrossflow, what kind of carb does it have? Exhaust will help a tad. And whats your budget? A bigger carb is probably one of the cheaper mods...

I can push 2nd to 60kms, and this is at about 5500rpm. Can't remember figures of the other gears but im sure I've posted them before.

The jetting prolly wont make THAT much difference between the 1500 an 1600, would just go abit harder I was running a carb jetted for a 1600 on a 1300 an it went fine.
