  1. IF you can get that inda power out of that engine without a turbo itll cost you 30 grand and youll be lucky to get 5000 ks out of it That dont sound even close to feasible
  2. Yeah Ill have my Datsun at the LnD meet as well. Would be good to see some more faces out there
  3. Yes I will be lowering it but not immediately cause my bank account wouldnt like me for it The guy I bought this off a year ago had two of them so this is probably the same car Wont be in sth island champs so have no idea when it will be on display up here but will undoubtedly take it to a few meets and am happy for ppl to come around and have a look at it
  4. Well the car is mostly completed now. Its still got alot to do but I was building it for the Dunedin Southern Festival of Speed street race this weekend just been. 5. Yeah Id say patricks as well They did my rear door trims (if it had rear doors anyway, i dont know what else to call them ) and gearboot and a new headlining and sunvisors and theyve all came out mint
  6. I would have been keen but thats about a month too early for me
  7. RT's car looked nice and that tractor in the burnout comp (yes Im serious ) was wicked, particularly when it almost rolled. But in general was a decidely average show. Not worth the $20 to get in
  8. I went last year and enjoyed it. Ill bring the datsun along if Ive got everything sorted by then. But probably will be around somewhere either way
  9. Didnt we decide the year limit was a stupid idea last time you said 20 years. Maybe Ill bring my BMW since apparently thats old school
  10. hmm 10 tonite. May roll the datsun up if I not doing anything else, no promises though
  11. 25th is no good for me. Going away drinks for a mate of mine Have to be the 26th or another weekend
  12. Well the car has been for its first warrant, which it failed (as expected) but it was all pretty minor stuff so now a week later its ready to be tested again which is happening tomorrow. I ended up with a spare tyre so put it on one of my racing forgs to see how well they fit and I must say I love them, they fit the car perfectly and have the perfect amount of dish Thats a 185/60/14 on a 7" rim
  13. My car will hopefully have a wof tomorrow so im keen for a meet sometime
  14. I realise Im not supposed to post here but anyway
  15. Dont have any pics of cherry blossoms on a ZG but Ive got another skyline. Very rare but still pretty ugly imo 110 wagons are wierd things, the arse is big enough on a hardtop. C10 wagons however
  16. The interior is totally stock. The previous owner retrimed the seats, Im not sure if its the correct material but its pretty close. Ive also retrimmed the rear door cards and got a new gearboot made as the old one was totally rotten. The seats are really comfortable, theyre still not as good as a modern car but well worth hanging on to
  17. Probably about time for an update. Decided I was going to get it on the road before I painted it, just so I could drive it to shops and get quotes etc After spending a rediculous amount of time on it for what Ive achieved here is what it now looks like Heres one of the interior. Still a few things I havnt put back in it, but more than enough for a warrant so the rest can wait Now just gotta get electrics sorted (dipped headlights, horn and indicators dont go). Plus a tune up would be handy. Then itll be ready for a warrant
  18. Id much rather hit a solid steering wheel in a crash than have it collapse and impale myself on a solid steering column. Saying that I havnt heard of anyone failing on it

  20. Ah yes, woops, 14 not 15. *smacks head* I thought you got 8's though? I'm obviously going mad, don't mind me. I've had 7's on the back of mine with absolutely no issues, however, with a the right offset 9's should fit on as well I would think with a more positive offset. Not thinking of mine are you? Mine are 14x7 and 14x8. Dont think Ie got a show in hell of them fitting inside the guards. Really need to get some tyres so I can check properly
  21. Yeah I agree. The ones in the porsche are the ones to go for...I just dont know what they are
  22. How about factory Nissan race seats from the 70s. Rare as rocking horse shit though. Just like the car these ones are beside
  23. How about the seats in the Porsche 550 replica in the NZPC street style mag? Anyone know where he got those from, the article dont even mention what brand they are Sorry for the crap pic, its not easy to take a photo of a glossy magazine at night, damn lack of scanner
