Update thyme. I'm a little slack as taking pics goes. 

Tried bleeding up the brakes with no success. Massive leak from the rear. Took drums off and it was pretty obvious what the problem was. Had to swap a drum off the parts car on after the steel shoe fucked it. There was also next to nothing left of the front pads. Fitted new rear shoes, wheel cylinders, and front pads. had to take corrosion off the drums with a bit of 60 grit sand paper.

Dropping the fuel tank out exposed the damage which the trailer winch had done 

I also could see inside the car through holes in the floor which shouldn't have been there and once I cleaned out the boot I discovered water has been pooling around the outside of the sound proofing.

Yes Thursday is bike night. No I'm not going to be there because bike has no WOF and its cold riding from Ashburton. 

I run Bluepoint and Sidchrome at work. The Sidchrome ones are a good 30 years old and are in great shape. A lot of my BSF spanners are Stahlwille and King Dick.

Yes but it depends on your current load. You start getting very pricey for diodes that can handle large current. Another way of doing it is put a relay in instead that's powered up by the feed. 

Left foot brake and load up the torque converter for hard launch.

For a vehicle pre 1989 its like a through WOF. For compliance they'll see that fab work has been done and ask for a repair cert which might a bit hard to get if you're not a ticketed welder. Best talk to the place doing the compliance before starting as they have the last say. 

What sort of flare do you want? I could bung it in the lathe and roll a bell mouth on it (or attempt to) 

Add Hydrazine that will make it go well.

What I meant was that its witchcraft trying to identify what gear box it is just by looking at the outside. 

Most people will claim that a W box with a steel center plate is a w58 but this isn't always true.

oh, lol, was thinking you should of known the difference. The W55 in the GS126 has a steel center so that ruins that theory.

Likely an E series diff. 6.5" crown wheel as opposed to the 7.5" of an F series. Post a pic of the ID tag on the firewall. That will Have the info.  Someone here might know if it's possible to bolt in swap an F series. 

Turns out I've got 4 fans and visco couples. Funny what you find when you go for a look. So it's yours for $20.

I wouldn't be keen on the torque of a 1UZ through an E diff. Then again I'm tempted how much boost I can shovel into the LD28 before the H165 goes bang in the VPJR30. 

I'm good with numbers, words were never my thing. Can't woo a woman with calculus though. 

does it have an F series diff? If so the LSD unit out of an Altezza or the front of a 4wd hilux will fit. 

did you guys miss the pic of the box around the filter and the words "It will draw air from the vent by the windscreen."

The headers are for a mate who now owns horndog's old Gloria. I keep telling the fool to sign up to os and come to Hanmer. I stared tweaking up an L26 for my Cedric but decided that LD28T is the way to go. So mate is going to use the L26 in his car with CBX1100 carbs. She's going to be a little fun to tune. You comming to Hanmer @a.craw4d? Or should I say you are comming wheather you like it or not. 

I've got to make sure I don't need the visco couple for the GS126.
