  1. Ok, Chinese made. Maintain well, keep them clean to avoid rust. Tyre size is weird for a dirt/road combo but they do what they need too. Send it basically.
  2. May do a private tour. Helicopter drop off at the start line with the bikes ready to go and a ute to throw everything on when the cameras aren't rolling.
  3. This sold. To someone great. That you fellas know. How good!
  4. I can confirm they go hard for what they are and someone we know needs to buy that.
  5. He also works closely with Motomart in Wellington and they have a shop monkey that both him and I have ridden so he's a bit of a piner.
  6. Whatever yarn you have with them they'll edit to fuckery anyway so you won't be at risk, and they don't wanna be the ones ruining it for other people too. Go for it. Funny what picks up their attention haha. For the record also, BRM magazine guy that interviewed us left them because reasons and now does all the Kiwi rider podcast and writing with another fella. Basically they're opposing factions. Doesn't really effect it in any way, but worth mentioning.
  7. I didn't go, but I've ridden some CVT scoots where ya shouldn't. Biggest worry for me would be those water crossings. If enough gets in the CVT enclosure it's belt slip central and it can make some havoc with the clutch. Also air intake. Currently building a bike for this level of adventure. The Auckland crew should be bringing my engine back with them later this month!
  8. Looks like a terribly boring and not at all exciting day fellas. Not jealous at all, not one bit.
  9. Quite. Fastest 'in their day'. But they're still around as a new model now. 100kph in first without a struggle. 300kph is possible. I've ridden 4-5 of them and every time after I get off all I can think is fuck that. Be careful Mr Nathan! Cool bike though.
  10. Shit yeah cut out all the ahhh's and ums. I also get rid of my heavy breathing which is actually just normal breathing but the helmet mic is right in front of my face. This video I did in December probably has the most cuts of any video I've ever done. Response was a majority of people not minding. A few complained about it being choppy and changing too much. https://youtu.be/fa6LpN3ra74 Good on ya dude. Even when you can't be assed and feels like it's not worth it - there is an audience for literally anything and everything. Keep at it and that will grow. I've sunk tonnes of my own money and even more time into my channel. I got my first ever youtube money recently. 2 + years of effort, thousands spent and I got back $300. I was over the moon! Felt so good, and it's not the monetary value either that matters for me but it was more a sign of I've been doing the right thing and it's worth continuing. Hit 1000 subscribers half way through last year which enabled me to monetise my stuff. Took another 8 months and one semi successful video for money to appear. I honestly didn't even expect it to actually be real money but it was. Will probably take another years efforts to get another few hundred. But either way, it's all exponential. I got my second lot of 1000 subscribers in half the time it took to get the first lot. Good to see others out there giving it ago. Keep it up. Also nice shed.
  11. Just a heads up that a few of the ADV boomers I'm mates with passed through rainbow on the weekend. Alternate road has been made around/near/not sure what exactly but you can make it through.
  12. https://www.facebook.com/smallbikestuff/videos/866767250781493 Editing at the moment. Should be out Christmas Day.
  13. As per the description: I said it rode well. It did on tarmac. But Blake says it was crap on Gravel. NEVER TRUST THE MEDIA MATE. 6 gears was lush though.
  14. Shit yeah I'm so keen! As long as I get to pest in the Awatere river bed for a while I'm chuffed. I did that alone the second year after the roadblock opened and I was on the FX125. Road about 1km up before the road tyres became useless.
  15. @Threeonthetree’s sprocket bolt.
  16. Even more reason for the Yeah, Nice - award.
  17. Lolol just remembering that Tuna bomb mid prize giving and had an actual laugh out loud. So glad I knew what they were or I would have probably shat ma daks mate.
  18. Sure is. It's a Shinko SR241 - they say Goldenboy on the side also. Used to only come to nz in 2.75x17 for posties. But I recently got thinner fronts in (2.50x17) because they don't rub on my front guard. Don't think thats a problems with the NBC's though. Only $50 ish a pop. Worth a skid.
  19. The First Second; then Third - Club room photos 2020.
