  1. I agree with this. Ok cool you put EFI on your car. You crash it. And they then know it's been modified and will go looking for.the cert. Just cause they said it's ok to do it, dose not mean they will not decline a claim in the future

  7. I lived in LA when.I was 20. You need a car. The place is fucking huge. Having a car will let you go down to San Diego, up to big bear and all the good outlet malls are on the out skirts. And need to go to six flags and the water park. There is a race track at Pomona and I think you are planning on going to a car show. Again it's.on the outskirts. Where are you planning on staying?
  8. At least cut all the rust out. There is still raw Steel with active rust in that repair. Seal up up all you want it will keep rusting. You say you have no time. But you will end up doing it again in the future. Why do things twice.
  9. Have a look at the rail that the exhaust hangs off. On a 323 it's on both sides on everything else it's only on.the left
  10. Yeah I have a 323 but all the special parts that make it a 323 have been sold off. The only way to tell its a 323 would be by looking under the rear and seeing the longer chassis on the right.
  11. That will explain why it has a 2.0l and a carb. It's.properly a 320/6 not a 323. Run it's vin through a new vid decoder and that will tell you.
  12. Have you taken out the rear seat and checked out the strut towers yet? What's the floor like it
  13. On another note. I am keen to upgrade the steering. The factory rack has like 4.5 turn lock 2 lock. In Europe they are fitting e46 racks with 3 turns. They mount a RHD rack on the LHD subframe. Seems to work. But no one can give me any information and bump steer equations don't even seem to come in to it. I have done a bit of reading and I'm still no closer to understanding. As I will have to buy and import a LHD rack I want to do the math and make sure it will make it past certification. I'm off to look at YouTube videos if any one has any good ones.
  14. Not much. But this is the e21 subframe mount tacked on the the e21 subframe. Lots of measuring and a bit internet research and I'm happy with where the wheels sit in the guards. I am now on the look out for a e34 rear swaybar to retro fit to the e28 subframe and a set of camber and toe plates then the subframe is off to get welded by someone with more metal sticking all than I have.
  15. More photos please. Looks like it might be a good start from that photo. Yeah it has the full bbs kit on it. The side skirts are not best looking. Tell you the truth e21 are very hard to get side skirts look good. I'm keen to see the rear end. The wheels are just standard e21 13" turbine alloys. More photos.
  16. And thoughts on the screw in stud option for BMW to replace the wheel bolts? Would it be ok to put one stud in each wheel to locate the wheel and then factory bolts for the rest?

  20. Yes was such a good feeling getting the parts on and pushing it out the shed. It's going to be slow going but at least I can move it again.
