Which l brackets are these ? I have a bit of extra wb front end stuff

My mate has a td42t in his 1941 GMC 6x6

The previous post pretty much covers every thing I would do The thermostat should be closed when you pull it out drop it in a pot of boiling water and it should open up and close after you take it back out if that works ok you can throw it back n the engine Next I would be taking radiator out and get it cleaned

When I get passed with rusty nuts and bolts etc I tend to go out the back of the workshop with the digger or bulldozer and wreck shit other day took the motor box out of a corolla on about 10 minutes ,flipped it over and ripped it out with out undoing nothing

In my wb tonner it has fume vent pipe that goes all the way to the front to a canister the big question is do I really need it The tank already has a filler pipe vent from the tank to the filler pipe

I think I should turn up too wont be in a old school ride but not the jap runabout

Actually just spotted a very old Holden ( late 50s not sure the models of that era) while I was backing the bin truck down a drive early this morning ,yes the customer wanted it early boxing day hehe, the Holden is in a carport with stuff stacked all over it looks like its got all the chrome etc on the guards but might be a bit rusty

I sure as hell would be jacking up the car and checking there isn't something come loose in the steering

Just been schmoozing at mates place he's going up to auckland in Feb and will get the full Monty on the sedan from his wifes daughter where its sitting in land from owera

wouldn't mind dash fascia from a prem or statesman and the extra bits good door cards this tonner had all the interior removed before I got it

Dash glove box that's not beige hz manual steering column and stering wheel clutch pedal and cable accelerator pedal and cable Brake booster wb is different from earlier ones ( different mounting for master cylinder )

Do you have much in the way of spares I'm looking for interior bits for my wb

If its just a standard hq sedan not that keen if it was a prem or statesman more keen sounds too straight rust free to cut up for bits

Getting it out of there isn't a problem got another mate couple of kms away that owns a trucking co with hiabs I'm sure he would put it in his yard next to his collections of chefs and holdens just do I really need another project and the big one where the ( censored ) am I going to stash it plus I drive 4 days a week I don't get excited these days driving long distances on my time off

Are the v8 and the 6 flange interchangeable

You must be running out of cool holdens to find in the top of the north island Actually I know where there is a unfinished project Holden (possibly hq or later ) on the north shore ,mates wife daughters husbands mates car . Mates wife daughter wants it gone off her land lol I would grab it but its a real haul back to wgtn as a non runner

Wish I had more workshop space like you have there By the time I park a bulldozer ,6 wheeler 2 diggers and a 19410gmc 6x6 in the workshop my holdens have to live in the garage under the house
