Sweet coupe I love the lines of these old fords. Factory hotrods in my opinion. my mate has a 40 coupe but it is no way near as mint condition as this one.

was a pretty cool event, worth going to, so many cars, i did a few circuits, different cars turned up all through the day

Decided to go for the full hillbilly look. stakebed sides Took it to the classic car / hotrod picnic down otaihanga domain. got a few laughs and smiles when i drove it in the gates. Finally found a use for the old original license plate topper

yea planning on going to Trentham aswell.

all I have re details is on the flyer as follows. Hot Rod rampage at Temarua speedway, Sunday 22 February 2015. Swam meet. show and shine. dirt track racing, Adults $10.00 kids Free. gates open at 9.00 scrutineering at 10.00 track open at 11.00 prize giving 2.30 Pretty much when i went last time they let anything old/ cool on the track. only rules were you must sign a death waiver, driver and all passengers must have helmet/ seat belts . not full harnesses or anything just normal road belts. no cages/ roll bars were needed. One car had wooden wheels on the front and widened steelies on the rear with oil drums cut in half for seats so they are not that fussy .

Is any one going to the hot rod rampage dirt track event? i will be taking the truck down. normally a pretty relaxed day.

nah no shotgun shells or cans unfortunately, it does have domes to mount a flag in the back window though!

360 fe ford big block, 4 speed manual with dana diff... Factory standard apart from headers and a stainless exhaust I tig welded up myself.

Yea I shipped it in from California will get some better images of it when I got it a few months back and put a before and after shot of it up
