  1. Was planning on going for a nistune which are around $450-$600 depending who does it but they still use the afm so i'd need to spend extra for a wide band. Yeah have done a bit of research. Went to NS spec, he convinced me anyway to get the g2 instead saying it'll be a way better option than a nistune, he claimed i should make at least 250kw but who knows till its on the dyno

Its been a while an not a lot has happened to this sack as i was experiencing the wheeler dealer hu$tle hah finally got it towed to joes mechanical to get insurance to hopefully pay out for a fuck up by previous mechanic picture spam of the 15s on the car Front pair are autostrada's--- need to find another pair of these as i like them waaayyyy more than the ssr's imo Rears are just ssr mesh Still need to sort the fitment out with 180mm free height adjusty springs and adjustable arms are necessary as its got mexi poke with 25mm spacers on to clear the brakes Enjoy fellas & female equivalents

Alright i've read all over the interwebs but its got me more confused than anything i know ford falcon or futura rear springs can fit in the rear but what yr falcon or futura springs ?? does it even matter??? Apparently Ford sierra wagon springs fit as well just lop a coil or 2 off What shocks should i use for the rears ? can i leave the stock ones in or? what should i do for the fronts ?? thats it there sitting on 15s with standard suspension but would like it a few inches lower school me with your toyota wisdom pls

I too felt all your concerns when i first bought them but only need a 10mm bolt on spacer to clear the callipers or just whip out the angle grinder an grind a bit of the top of the calliper an its sweet. Guard work will be immense if i commit to running them instead of just 8s allround with the meshies. Gt refinishers will surely get the job to do the guards though

Cusco 7 point jungle gym sitting nice an snug inside but it didnt want to bolt up to the seat mount cause it was too far forward so gonna have to get a metal plate to drill through not just the floor cage fully bolted up is just from the interwebs, have no plans to drill holes through the dash atm

Nothings too late still just driving it around and giving it a good hiding In other news i bought a full bolt in roll cage couldnt resist the cheap price of $400 Also everyone is having the biggest of mares fitting tyres to my 15x10s even though i bought them with 195/55s on them and am wanting to now fit a 205/50/15 or even a 205/60. Maybe its just tyre guys in auckland that aren't as whorey as tyre fitters in hamilton, who really knows though

Never understood this whole chasing numbers thing, you can have fun in low hp/kw cars an do just as well as a high hp/kw car imo Not in it for the numbers just wanting something with reasonable power 300hp would do me tbh its a daily an need it reasonable on gas lel I like where youre coming from a lot but wouldn't want to put a NA in a fairly tidy turbo body which is something that isn't the most common anymore with all the Rfb plebs around, kinda sad really. would love to do a NA build, hopefully soon if i can find a nana spec laurel other car is like a 60yr old dudes one with a kitted out 25det link ecu etc etc
  20. if you mean a 30det then god no, never. reason being is that itll be good for a short period of time an then itll start to shit it self, theyre only good if you have heaps of spares lying around for it which unfortunately i dont cause my hoarding isnt 13/10 i remember seeing a rb30de laurel on trademe couple months back forgot to screen shot pics of it, had trumpets an all that looks real nice but was many $$$$$ to build

Sort of a update but yeah Went and saw Joe Kyle today an started talking about a rb24det with him an he said its fairly straight forward an quite a lot cheaper than what i had thought it would be from reading forums an what not. He also tried to persuade me to go 25det lel but i kindly turned it down reason being is theyre not as rev happy as a 20 an theyre prone to going pop a lot quicker, even though the 20det head isnt that good with providing decent flow compared to the 25 or 26det/t roughly around 3.5k-4k if i take the engine out my self an put it back in which isnt a hard task OR just go fully forged 20det for around 2.5k-3k 25det is only 1.8k-2.5k but dont really want to go that route even though every other person i know is telling me to not waste my money on a 20 an doing it up to make decent power figures what are your guys/gals thoughts on this ! ? !

  23. the r32 took a slow whack pulling out onto morrin rd today only a broken indicator, crack in bumper which idont care about any way cause of the new one coming, bent guard which isnt a biggy her suzuki swift took a hiding though at like 10ks per hr not even that, rear door of her car got fucked she said it was my fault but my mate in the passenger seat said she wasnt looking so i guess i will have to dispute it an save paying excess
