Thinks my mind is now made up and I’ll be riding it until it shits itself. 
I wouldn’t be too worried about keeping it if it had the trap door transmission but splitting the cases would be a real bummer. 

Need some honest opinions.

Im thinking about upgrading the sportster with 1200 hooligan kit since it’s likely at some stage I’ll have to split the cases anyway. I’d do the exhaust and an old school louver intake at the same time.  4K all up then the gearbox parts. 

Or… should I just ride it as is (883, “pops” out of first gear once in a while) and replace the bike when it completely fucks out cos it’s just a sporty and not worth the money?

@MACKAZ I use this when I’ve got my kid on the bike. Cheap but sufficient, just have to make sure you have a helmet that has a recess for the speaker.

In terms of the shocks there should be a YouTube vid on it. That’s how I got mine mine squared away.

YSS might have something. They seem to have options for everything. Not overly cheap however.

Yeah. I thought swapping the grenade plate for an extra plate clutch kit would solve my dramas but obviously not. 

The Harley made some interesting noises on the way home… safe to say my one’s living up to the Harley reputation. 
Engine tear down after summer I guess. 

I’ve been watching Sur_Ronster on YouTube. He hyped these things up big time. They look fun that’s for sure.
