  1. Sorry didn't make it. Was stuck under ute finishing stuff off for cert. will roll in next time in the work van.
  2. I should be there. With the last wellington appearance of the ute.
  3. Back down on the ground for the first time in a long time. Also first time at raised height.
  4. Brakes all back on and all back in the ute.
  5. Yeah I'm not sure. Was like that when I bought it. Can't see it when it's on car so doesn't bother me haha.
  6. Got my adapter plates back today. Looks mint. Changed design a little and went for a thicker plate. Away for the weekend so might give it a nudge on Sunday night?
  7. All yours. I think I even have a brand new set of pads somewhere too.
  8. That is a very cool machine. Would love to have a coupe one day.
  9. The collar or spring platform was mig welded and needs to be a tig weld. And as it a suspension component it needs a crack test and documentation to prove that welding has been done to required spec.
  10. Oh and raised it about 25mm which doesn't seem like a lot but when it was as low as it was it looks like a 4x4. How ever it should be close to the +\- 5% so as soon as I have cert and wof it's getting dropped again for sure. Will give you a good heads up for your wheels to Beaver. Thanks.
  11. Yeah just need to make up a plate to suit new calipers tomorrow get them fitted up bleed brakes and should be all go. The brakes were a bit suspect that they would pull it up enough during cert brake test but now this has solved all my problems. Pretty much ready for recheck now. Although I'll need to do someone perkies to pay for it. Haha
  12. So got my new rotors today. Pretty happy with how it's worked out. 258mm rotor and pulsar pickapart calipers.
  13. So alot of you will know of this ute as Cheater_5 build. A wee while ago now I was lucky enough to purchase this bad boy, and have loved every moment of it. When I took ownership Chris had done all the hard work with fitting the sr20de and 5speed to match, exhaust, coilovers, coupe front brakes, reset rear leafs, stiffened shocks, 260z seats, modified tunnel... The list goes on and on. A real credit to Chris for building it to the point to where I took over. A lot of trial and error, experimenting etc.. Since I have owned it I have fixed some rust, drive shaft hoops and other small thing that would be needed for a cert. when I took it for cert, got a big shock with work that needed to done. Stuff like: fuel tank bash plate reweld coilovers and crack test, reduce camber, raise ride height, new gear box x member, a few small things really. So as of now I'm upgrading the brakes as cert man said it wouldn't be enough. So with some luck will have that sorted in the next few days and then back for recheck. 15. Would be keen as but but I'll be slaving away at work. Up side is it's more coin towards ute upgrades.
  16. Sadly ute won't be ready due to work taking up all my time to get it finished.
  17. I wont be there as ute is in peices. But might roll past after work in the work wagon. CDL are you gonna be there for sure? I gotta return those 14s as i can still make the 13s work.
  18. Hard out. Almost got lost between those massive tanks.Good times..
  19. I should be in for tomorrow. I'll either come down to weigh station or wait at the Puk Bay shops and tag on as youses guyses pass by.
